Lovely room with aircon, flat screen TV, mini-fridge, small night market and places to eat at night right in the plaza outside.. songtheaws going up and down the street about every thirty seconds for transportation around the city. 7/11 right across the street...local restaurants . Good location, outside of the city which is crowded with tourists. Staff is very friendly & helpful. However, not all of them speak good english. Being away from the tourist crowd, you can feel the thai spirit and get in touch with locals. You can find good food locations at the main road and at the night market. Rooms are...

Booked 2 rooms with b/f for stay in nov 2014. Front desk staff Mr Tonkhao said i only booked for one room despite me showing him the reservation details. Didnt gave me the breakfast vouchers. Told me all bookings through 3rd party not entitle to breakfast. After some arguments, gave us the breakfast vouchers and told us off for not...

I m a Thai so language barriers do not apply to me, neither Northern Lanna Thai as I had been living in Chiangmai for years. I made called to ask about accommodation details and fitness. I stayed for 6 weeks at the Malin in February and March 2014. I was taking a course just a few blocks away (near the main entrance to Chaing Mai University). I did some shopping around for rooms, did price comparisons, and the rooms at the Malin seemed to be the best for the money in this part of the...

Very hot during the afternoon because of the sun. the balcony is too small to walk out on. communication was very poor - little English spoken. they charged me because a towel was dirty - they could have given it to me and I could have used it...

I stayed here 2 months during a mission trip to Thailand. The employees are nice and helpful. The rooms are clean. I don't recommend room #1202. I moved out of there. Too hot and there is a flashing sign right out the window that is on almost all night.

Location: This residence is within 5 minutes walk to the Chiang Mai University across the road. It is just next to many food stalls and night market downstairs. 7 Eleven is just across the road. However, it takes around 1 hour to walk to the north of the city center moat. This residence is situated along the North West region....

Room was fine with basic facilities. The shower curtain came down occasionally but it was easy to fix, & the staff were helpful. Power went out on one night, but that was not uncommon in Chiangmai & it was for a short period, less than an hour, so it was ok. Residence is located just beside the night market which...
