Empress went out of their way to offer overwhelming hospitality. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel kept sending fresh fruit plates to our room everyday... so much we had hard time catching up. For a family suite and duration we booked, they even gave us a complimentary dinner. It turned out to be a feast of well-cooked Thai...

I have stayed at this hotel many times for meetings and am consistently please with the service and quality. While they have several meeting rooms most of their business seems to come from tour groups. I have used the tour desk at the hotel a couple of times in the past and been pleased with its prices and service.

I love this hotel and normally stay there each year I go. The last time was a little over a year ago and the price was $43 a night to include breakfast... I go to book a room on the website I use and it is now $117 per night. What the heck??? It's a nice enough hotel, but now...

We reserved a room on an upper floor (mid-range price-wise). We requested an upgrade and were put on the top floor (executive suite). The room was lovely. There was a beautiful fruit platter when we arrived. That evening they brought us a gift bag with really yummy treats. There's a lounge with a computer and printer for the floor. We...

I have stayed at the Empress several times over the years. The staff is ALWAYS helpful and the hotel is clean and maintained. The hotel is located close to several restaurants and not far from the Art in Paradise museum. Banks are within walking distance and the Night Bazaar is not very far. I highly recommend the Empress.

Near to town center but not noisy at all at night. Gym was average but the pool was great. Excellent service with great breakfast choice but sometimes very busy in the morning. Overall a good choice for a city hotel.

There are also free parking spaces for those who have rent a car. Comfortable and clean room with nice view. The breakfast was brilliant as well. Variety of food are available....

I give the staff a 5-star rating; they went above and beyond and I really appreciate that. B/c the staff came late to pick us up, the manager upgraded us several levels to a suite room, and prepared a bag of goodies and snacks for us. Thanks! The lower rating is only b/c of the age of the hotel. The...

A very nice room, very pleasant dining room, enjoyable pool and spa, good massage. Most people do not speak English. One person at the reception, Ussanee In. was very welcoming and exceptionally helpful in all areas.

This hotel is in a quiet location, despite being near the Night Market and Thae Pae Gate. The staff are friendly, hardworking and well trained. Breakfast options are limited but service remained efficient and warm. We received roses every night during the turn down service. Request for a higher floor room to get a good view of the surrounding mountains....
