Stayed in the Empress for two weeks for business and the hotel was completely adequate for all our needs, We roomed on the 16th floor and the room was remodeled and very nice. Restaurant was very helpful in preparing and serving all meals.

My room was very spacious with a beautiful view. The only bad thing I would say about the hotel room is that the bathtubs are basically designed to flood each time you take a shower. Water pours from the edge to the floor, even though the curtain is inside the tub. A design flaw. Not really the hotel's fault, but...

I had a short stay in Chiang Mai and decided to stay in the Empress. The Hotel was a luxury hotel, Nice and Clean, I had a very nice room, the view out of the window wasnt great but not a lot wrong with this as a hotel. Staff were friendly.

Stayed here on a business trip for 4 nights Clean and comfortable room with good air conditioning, hot water and TV. But..... 1) airport pickup was waiting at the wrong terminal. 2) clueless front desk staff who consistently gave wrong information, especially the front desk manager. 3) very patchy wifi access in rooms. Almost impossible to get wifi in rooms

The hotel was really clean and comfortable, my room had a beautiful view and was larger than most Thai hotels I have stayed at. Staff was polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again --- especially for the breakfast, fresh waffles every morning made infront of you.

Good points; the location was great just go to the end of the road and turn right and you are straight into the market square and restaurants , the lady in...

This is an above average hotel in Chiang mai . It is set back a little off the main street and so it quiet . The room was a good size and clean and everything worked well . Room cleaning does start rather early though and a few times it was before 8am . The breakfast buffet is large with...

We loved EVERYTHING. Right from a quick check-in, a warm welcome, a lovely bag of surprises on our bed, to the fantastic breakfast options, the dine-in options. Everything was perfect! The night market is literally a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful when asked about Chiang Mai attractions. We had an absolutely...

It's been a while since we've stayed at a hotel that has an actual keys there than key card, reminded me of my younger days and classic hotels you see in movies. We got a free upgrade, check in was quick and we stayed in room 1630 with great views of Chiang Mai. The interior of the hotel, rooms, lobby,...
