As soon as you walk into this hotel you see the staff are unhappy,if you ask them to do anything they look like scared rabbits as everything has to be passed by management before they dare do anything to help you,the reception staff dont even seem to be able to sort out bookings as they do not appear to have...

Let me first start off by saying that this hotel is in a great location. It is walking distance to the night market and there is a laundry service place and 7-11 right across the street, which was such a convenience. The room was big and clean, but had a very awful smell. I can't even describe it. The bathroom...

We have spent 4 days in this 4-star hotel within Chiang Mai city. Its location is ok although it is a bit far away from downtown (a tuk tuk would take only 15 min) However, room service is not at a 4-star hotel level since rooms are not as clean as expected for a hotel of such category (in fact,...

Stayed there for 6 nights during August 2011, family with 2 kids (8 and 11). We took 2 rooms with connecting doors. The rooms are reasonably sized and were clean and nice. Pros: Nice outdoor pool. Breakfast was OK. Cons: Matress was extremely hard, almost like sleeping on a wood board... Gym has no treadmill and only opens 8 am...

I stayed with my three boys at the plaza for 6 night. The hotel looks fancy when you enter the lobby but it it only a matter of time before we realized it is not as fancy as it looks. The rooms had a mildew smell and were too dim. Breakfast was less than basic. It Seemed like staff was worn...

We stayed in the Plaza for the final two nights of our journey around northern Thailand and after some of the hotels we had stayed in during the past week this was paradise! The first thing that you notice as you walk-in is the lobby, a very grand and tranquil area, which has a nice bar to take a relaxing...

Stayed here back in January after travelling around the country. Decided to write a review now, after looking through photos. NYE time in Thailand isn't as cheap as I was told by friends but this place was an absolute bargain for how amazing it is. Bedrooms are extremely clean and the staff were so friendly. The hotel grounds were huge...

My sister and i stayed here for four days and apart from the extremely hard beds we had a great time. The hotel is walking distance to lots of markets and night markets. Down the road is a little Cafe think its Aussie something that has cheap food, alcohol, internet and international phone usage. I had stayed here twice before...

The Plaza is located about 1.5 kilometers from the south east corner of the old city, and about 500 meters from the night market, which was a fine location for us, since we were out traveling most of the time. The hotel itself is a bit on the old side. Stepping in, one can see that this hotel was once...

We stayed here for four nights from 30 May to 3 June 2011. The hotel is wonderful, with a beautiful entrance and spectacular lobby area. Everything about it is on a large and spacious scale. We arrived early on a flight from Kuala Lumpur and were able to go straight to our rooms at about 9.30am. The rooms are large,...
