This hostel is in a great location, we could walk everywhere we wanted to go,with no problems. The guys behind the front desk were very helpful, they helped us organise all of our trips and even our bus to Pai. The rooms themselves were okay, fairly clean. A lot of the lockers were broken so you couldn't secure your belongings...

This is an amazing hostel for a backpacker! The price for a dorm room is amazingly cheap, only 100baht per night and you get great value over money. No air conditioning in the dorm rooms but many fans. The rooftop is incredible, and there's so many books you can find there to read. Also you can meet many people here...

The bed was hard in the dorm and the fans didn't really help to keep me cool. But most of my problem was the bathroom. There wasn't any toilet paper or soap. And when I showered, I didn't want to touch much because the walls looked so stained that I wasn't comfortable really washing that well. The toilet seat was...

Bathroom is very basic and there's never any toilet paper. But beside that - beds are a bit squeaky but very comfy. AC works perfect. Guys from reception were very helpful with organising stuff for us and the general location is very good too - loads of good places to eat, close to markets.

Kiki's is a great little backpacker spot tucked away in a quiet soi and with a very small but lively social area. When we arrived we were told we were not sleeping in the main building but in the Homebase building "just around the corner". We were taken to the Homebase, a few streets away, which had no reception, no...

We stayed here twice for >3 days a time on our recent visit to Chiang Mai. The rooms are a decent size and the location is good. Rooms could be cleaner though and you can feel every criss-crossed spring in the mattress, you sleep but it could be more comfortable. They do not have maid service for the private rooms...

I could not recommend this place more. It is in a convenient location, cheap, and has staff who know the best day trips and sightseeing. The rooms are comfortable and secure. The hostel is very sociable. The only downside is that it can be difficult to find (tucked away down an alleyway) so taxi and tuk-tuk drivers may not know...
