Beautiful hotel full of rustic charm. A good Thai experience. Very quiet and peaceful right in the middle of a bustling city. Convenient location. Staff extremely polite and helpful. Wonderful food. Excellent beds and bathrooms. Snacks and service next to the pool were very good.

We spent the 2nd week of our honeymoon here during the Songkran Thai new year festival/street water fight. The location was the perfect place to stay for Songkran, an easy walk to the main gate where celebrations are based but set back enough from the street to stay dry if you prefer. Our hotel room was beautiful and the daily...

The rooms are arranged in multi-levels, with large tamarind trees on the property, which gave me a sense of sleeping in a tree house. The hospitality is warm, food was high-quality, pool area was perfect for relaxing, and the laundry service was a nice bonus. Loved the large bamboo-lined entrance way, which kept the property hidden back from the main...

It was great to be back at Tamarind Village, staff are very friendly, breakfast is good and room was comfortable and quiet. Only negative is that the prices are getting quite high and I think the rooms are a little tired

My parnter and I recently spent 6 nights at Tamarind Villiage, staying in a Lanna Deluxe Room.In the middle of the old city of Chiang Mai, it was a very enjoyable experience. From arriving Sunday lunchtime after a long day travelling, check in was smooth and professional. The Sunday night markets are straight at the front door which was amazing....

We had a very nice stay here. The hotel is in the heart of the old city and the price included breakfast (which was fairly good). It had an exhibit of northern Thailand Tribes in the hallway. In the room, they had beautiful and interesting books about the region.
