The highlight 'hotel-wise' of our Christmas 2014 Thai family holiday and we stayed at great hotels in Phuket and Bangkok! Excellent service, delightful friendly staff, great food and reasonable prices. We had 2 adjoining rooms at back of hotel which generally worked well. Only minor problems were slightly dark rooms and barking dogs in the night. Would definitely book again and... More

Excellent boutique hotel ; excellent service and superb breakfast. Rooms were very clean and spacious; An oasis in middle of Chaing Mai (old city). Definitely a recommendation for a next stay in Chaing Mai.

Cant fault the Tamarind Village! From the minute we walked in after 23 hrs traveling we were immediately looked after and brought a cool cloth and drink. Staff were amazing all the time we were there- couldn't fault them! Always went the extra mile- very polite and helpful. Rooms were fantastic -we had the Lanna deluxe- we were on the... More

I loved staying here. The Tamarind Village is so central to everything. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful and bent over backward to sort out a booking error by our agent. I'd stay here again in a flash.

This hotel was perfection! It was so beautiful and tranquil. We stayed here at the beginning of March as part of our honeymoon trip. We loved it as soon as we walked in! Our room was beautiful, the pool area and dining area were both equally beautiful. In the evenings there were loads of candles lit around the hotel and... More

Had 3 nights great central hotel amongst the vibe. Staff were very helpful with tours and directions. Ground floor room facing the central court yard was big enough well appointed with toiletries and cupboard space. Bed comfortable with fluffy pillows. One down fall the wi fi is slow and drops out but who needs to read the news or get... More

I really cannot fault this hotel. It is one of the best I have stayed in. The staff are very attentive and kind and the whole atmosphere of the place is tranquil and totally relaxing. The grounds are beautifully maintained and illuminated with tea lights in the evening giving it a magical feel. The buildings are old colonial style and... More

Our four night stay in a Lanna Deluxe room was perfect. As others have stated the hotel is tucked away in the center of the city. You are centrally located to everything but once inside it feels miles away from the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. The room was beautiful and cool, exactly what you need after a day... More

The hotel is in the centre of the city but you would never know this. You are transported to a lovely setting a minute from the road. There are lots of temples bars and restaurants very nearby Staff are very welcoming and helpful. The pool is small and a bit close to the restaurant so limited seats. Our room and balcony... More

I loved the Tamarind Village which was easily my favourite of the 3 hotels we stayed in during our tour of Thailand. Reception and housekeeping were impeccable throughout our stay. We had booked a number of activities which needed reconfirming and one of the receptionists took this under her wing, making various calls while we got on with our first... More
