As of the minute we arrived everything was amazing, from the friendly, calm and not in-your-face welcome, to the clean, tranquil surroundings and genuine atmosphere of the place. The free sessions that were held daily such as flower arranging were lovely touches, as was the tour of the local area, which was much better than other hotels in Thailand. There...

we stayed here 6-9 April 2015. Well just beautiful, you would not know you were just off the busy road, close to everything. The setting of this hotel, which used to be a house we found out from an elder member of staff. Just see the pics on how beautiful it is. I would stay here again. Just have to...

We could not have a chosen a nicer place for part of our honeymoon. As soon as we arrived through the little tree lined driveway and were greeted on arrival we felt instantly relaxed. We even received two complimentary massages which was much appreciated after leaving the hustle and bustle of Bangkok! The staff were all so lovely and attentive...

We came here with our family for two days in Chiang Mian and surroundings. Perfect location downtown, close to all beautiful temples. Nice hotel, a little bit tiny rooms but you don't expect large space in boutique hotels. Only one point there was not enough electrical plugs to charge what needs to be charged every day after traveling all day...

Arrival was fab, hotel was so cute - really authentic Thai. Pool area was small but it was always possible to get a bed when we were there. Pool regularly cleaned and food and cocktails were fab. This was our second stay at the Tamarind and just as great as our first! without exception all the staff are always smiling, happy to help and do seem genuinely happy in their work. This hotel really is a haven of peace and quiet, with good amenities, made all the better by superb staff/service. This is a small/medium boutique hotel, so never seems crowded or too busy.
