I stayed at Galare Guest House at the recommendation of a friend who has lived for decades in Chiang Mai. It was simple but comfortable and very reasonably priced. The restaurant was good and service friendly and warm.
I have stayed here many times. It’s a lovely place with very good service, nice view of river and healthy home cooked food with no msg or nasty ingredients. Rooms on 3 Flurs round the garden. Staff very nice we always feel welcome
This is a lovely guess house with large, comfortable and clean rooms. It is situated by the Ping River and has a small restaurant overlooing the river itself. It is at the end of it’s own driveway and so, whilst being an easy walk to the night bazaar, is still relatively quiet.…

The Guest House is well located, nearby the night market. Rooms make the price. Most of all, it is the friendliness of the staff which must be noticed. While waiting my flight back to Bangkok after early check out, they called me to let me know that I forgot some belongings.…
