I'll start with the good bits, location! Location is perfect, close to everything! The staff were friendly & laid back! Pool was lovely, plenty of sunbeds and was nice to chill by in the late afternoon! Mini bar stocked up every day and was relatively cheap compared to other places I stayed in Thailand. Tv channels not bad. Staff said... More

We stayed here a week, because my wife had stayed last year and was fairly happy with it. So, having read a lot of the other reviews, I tend to agree with everything that has been said, so I won't bore you with repeating information. Although nobody has mentioned that WI Fi is sketchy depending on your room location, and... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and we were quite happy. Good location, big room, nice pool and very friendly staff. So why not 4 stars? Choice at breakfast is a bit limited and the rooms need some TLC. Sheets with rips and old stains and a big enough bathroom but it all gives a bit of an old vibe.

We had a good experience at Karinthip Village! There were adequate English speaking personnel at the reception desk at all times. The entire staff was hard working and most accommodating to our needs. The A/C, refrigerator and safe all operated properly, in our second floor, twin bed rooms, which we requested. There could be a bit more storage space for folded... More

This hotel has a good location just outside the old city walls and a pleasant swimming pool area - but nothing else to recommend it. The shower was uncontrollable, there was no hot water at the sink and the air conditioning barely functioned. There were no hand towels and the safe didn't work. When we complained about the shower and... More

Reception staff could barely speak English, and were very unhelpful. We had a room on the ground floor. The shower was terrible and ran hot and cold, the air conditioning never worked properly, and there were no storage facilities at all. We literally lived out of our suitcases. The bathroom was incredibly unhygienic and full of mould. There were only... More

Because we are frequent travellers we try and look for affordable accommodation. This did only cost us about $130 Aust. per night for a family room (one king bed and two large single beds) and this included a very large freshly cooked breakfast. (not enough other guests to justify buffet) The benefits were the location, the swimming pool, the hearty... More

This hotel was beautiful. The rooms were a good size and there was a pool in the middle. Me and my boyfriend were having trouble getting used to the time change so when we woke at 4am every morning we would sit outside and watch the sun rise over the mountains and it was so peaceful. Breakfast was beautiful and... More

For the price, I didn't expect much but the room so called 'superior double' is so disappointing. Poor lighting , wet toilet after taking showers, slippery bathroom floor, old and short shower curtain, two single beds put together to make it one "King" bed, no bed-side chest of drawers on one side, broken kettle, blurry old TV and loosening socket.... Had to stay here for a couple of nights since I have to attend some meetings nearby otherwise this wouldn't be my choice. The room was very old, not so clean, not enough lights. The worst thing was probably the shower. The temperature kept switching from freezing cold to steaming hot every few minutes.
