Everyone says “I love this place, I’m totally coming back!” I can honestly say that I came back. It took me a few years to save up and come back, and it is so worth it! I’ve missed the North of Thailand immensely. I’ll also be honest and tell you that I stayed somewhere else in Chiang Mai and it...

Stayed at Libra 3 nights. Went on reviews from this site almost exclusively and was excited to stay there. Was fairly disappointed. Pros: Kind owners who are very helpful. Upon arrival we were given a detailed explanation of the old city and things to do. One of the owners, who speaks great English, sat us down and drew everything for...

From the moment we walked into Libra we were treated like family. We unfortunately did not snag an air conditioned room, but when we mentioned our fan was not cooling down the room, staff immediately brought us a new stand up fan to help. When we were both sick at opposite times (Asia belly!) staff would ask the other one...

Very helpful, friendly & funny staff! Kind of familiar, cozy. Good to find and well located in the old town. Rooms are okay, a bit small. There is no wardrobe or bed table for organazing your stuff. The windows are not dense or sound proof, the pool from the other hotel is quite loud. Maybe a moskitonet could help. It...

The Libra Guesthouse is located in the old town of Chiang Mai. The location is very central, many sights are within walking distance. The rooms of the Guesthouse are spacious, simple, very clean and equipped with a bathroom. Drinking water can be refilled at any time. Very good environmental thought. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. Everyone is...

Stayed four nights. Owner was so helpful and considerate. Room was basic but clean. Shower was hot. No breakfast included but you can buy meals at the restaurant and they're excellent value (and huge!). Probably the best coffee I've had in Thailand too! We took a cooking course recommended by the owner and it was excellent. If you're looking for...

I stayed at libra guesthouse this past January 2017 for 2 weeks. This was my first time in Thailand and I had a great time thanks to everybody at the guesthouse. They helped me find everything from trekking to Thai cooking classes and great restaurants. They even found a private tour guide for our small group to take us to...

Stayed here 4 nights with Dao and her family that all treated us wonderfully. We arrived fresh from Bangkok without much of a plan for our trip and Dao sat us down with maps, books, pen and paper and with her help we planned the next few weeks. So amazing! Friendly, funny and helpful. This place is good.
