Baan Orapin is a serene tranquil beautiful oasis easy walking distance to most things. We stayed here for a month whilst accessing dental treatment. We stayed in the front area rooms for the first 10 days then in a slightly larger suite for the rest of the time and loved both and found both quiet and relaxing. Breakfasts were yummy,...

Baan Orapin is an quiet oasis of lovely teak rooms and manicured grounds that are luxurious at a fair price. We chose Baan Orapin from a recommendation of a friend who lived in Chiang Mai for almost a decade and we were not disappointed. We stayed in two different rooms after receiving a free upgrade. The first room, supposedly the...

We stayed at the Baan Orapin twice over the past 14 months, and each time it was an absolute pleasure to be there. Situated on a busy street close to the river, its high walls conceal lush gardens lining a large villa with two wings and a small but well maintained swimming pool. The staff were very helpful whenever we...

The B&B is situated in a very busy street, but as soon as you go through the threshold you are transported into another time. The B&B sits in spacious grounds full of greenery. My first impression at looking at the main building exterior was OH MY! what have I gotten myself into. The main building is in need of a...

All the reviews are true, Baan Orapin is a perfect little Oasis in Chiang Mai. The service is fanastic, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are large and clean and the gardens are gorgeous (there's even a pet bunny hopping around who's up for a cuddle if you can find him). What I loved about Baan Orapin was that...

We went here back in 2006 before I used tripadvisor and actually found this great place through another forum. I was thinking about it today and so I thought I'd come here to make a nice review. Very friendly owners, and decent breakfast for the price. Our first night we were in an older room near the front entrance which...

We stayed here for 5 days as part of our honeymoon and were not disappointed. The property is tucked away near the riverside area of CM and truly feels like you have stepped into another world once you enter the gate. The grounds are meticulously cared for and created a very relaxing environment when we weren't out site-seeing. The hosts...

We stayed at Baan Orapin in February, 2011. We had a fabulous stay. We were comfortable and very well taken care of for 4 days. We read the review complaining about the street noise in the front rooms. This fact is noted in many reviews on this website. A room in the rear of the property could have been requested...

Having read rave reviews about this B&B, we were excited to see it for ourselves. The B&B is situated right off the main road but as soon as you cross the gates, you enter a haven of tranquility and greenery. The gardens and surroundings are beautiful. When we were shown to our room (superior room in the front wing), the...

Two families stayed here - we had a fabulous room near the pool - the others had one in the front wing near the entrance. We all decided ours was much nicer. I came away thinking it was the right choice - good location, nice room, good pool to soak in when we got home and great brekky. The other...
