My boyfriend and I only spent two nights there, we liked it a lot,we would like to spend one more night if there was a room available. This hotel has a very good location, with a very nice and relaxing lobby, and there was a...More
We spent an entire week in Chiang Mai staying every night at The 3 Sis. The location is great, rooms are large and clean, great breakfast and an amazing staff. The staff look out for you and help you in any way. They gave us...More
We have been to Chiang Mai (& Thailand) many times over the past 20 years. We are now in our 50s and appreciate a certain level of accommodation without going overboard and getting too far outside of traditional Thai culture. The (king) room #306 at...More

After visiting Bangkok, it was a little disappointing to see that Chiang Mai itself was still quite busy and touristy. But this hotel served us with a sort of haven a little away from most of the other hotels, but right next to a beautiful...More

I do not think that 3 Sis is that convenient for a family. We were on the three floor and the showers were simply not functioning well. Is really poor, no exaggeration--not good for a family.
Wifi was also a huge problem.
If you read the negative reviews, you will get a better idea. I read them recently and things have not changed much over the years.
We found Uber helpful to take us from one place to another cause the weather was quite hot for our kids. With Uber where we stayed was not such a big deal, but good breakfast and good showers were important. In our travels, we found it most convenient to get data on one of our phones at the airport which came as a crucial part of our convenience.
Thailand was the last stop of 5 countries. It is more expensive here than we thought, not only hotels but food as well.
Best wishes on your travels. I would be happy to answer any question/s you may have.
Oh, hope you are here on a Sunday for the evening street market, otherwise we enjoyed our stay with our out of town trips.
On another note, if you cannot find a better place than 3 sis, and your child has their own food, and you go and buy breakfast food the day before and wifi is not a problem and you don't mind waiting 5 minutes before your shower gets to the right temperature, it can work for you for it has it own charm and the hotel has a lobby where your child can play a bit.
