I chose Chiang Mai Thai House reading tripadvisor reviews and it was a really good choise. Pros: - Location is very good: it is in walk distance to night, Saturday and Sunday market. - Very clean, comfortable, quite and good decorated rooms. - Fridge in the room and free lock boxes in reception. - Good swimming pool. - Friendly staff....

Chiang Mai Thai House was our first ever place in Chiang Mai to stay. We would definitely go back there. The price is quite high for Chiang Mai but the pool is excellent. I think, for the price, they should include breakfast, as this adds 180 baht every day for two people, taking the total quite high. There are other...

Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms, lovely pool, great menu - breakfast, lunch or dinner, mango shakes to die for, internet room with free hour, nicest staff (thanks to Udie, Moon, the owner man and Vincent!). You may be forgiven if you don't want to leave this place. Tours/motorbike rental/onward travel bookings at your fingertips but not pushed, merely suggested as...

My friend and I stayed Chiang Mai for 10 days in June 2009. Originally we booked 1 nights accommodation at Chiang Mai Thai House but after seeing how clean and comfortable the rooms were and how wonderful the staff are, we booked accommodation for the whole 10 days! We stayed in a twin room with A/C ($35AU p/night), which included...

This place is amazing! Clean, beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The staff also help with any information regarding day trips, cooking classes and treks and don't force specific companies on you. Just around the corner is one of the best restaurants in Chiang Mai, Noi's Kitchen. They are very cheap and the food is spectacular. Just beware of mosquitoes when sitting...

Thank you to all of the staff who made our week long stay such good fun. Our trip began with a need for relaxation which was catered for by the lovely quiet pool and loungers, the location was great for sightseeing, shopping and later for us taking part in the bizarre but hilarious Sonkran festival. If you ever get the...

Chiang Mai Thai House is a gem. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are clean with air conditioning. The pool is a nice retreat after a long day of exploring and towels are provided for free. The food here is excellent value and delicious. A typical dish will cost around 40 baht so although the...

I stayed at the Chiang Mai Thai House for 3 nights in February. I was just in a standard room, which only offered a fan and no AC. This was fine, as Chiang Mai really wasn't that hot in February. The hotel was supposed to send someone to pick us up at the airport, but no one showed up, so...
