The title says it Obviously if you want a cosy, cutesy coupley hotel you wouldnt stay here If you are popping through chiang mai for a few nights then this is ideal The rooms are basic, as they are with all hostel type places. The staff are friendly and ready to help with anything! It is walking distance (5min/10min) to...

My son booked a room in this budget Hotel and for the price paid I must say it has to be classed as excellent despite being basic. It has all you need its clean you have television and the staff is friendly and helpful. Due to been overweight a button sprang of my favourite trousers, I asked on reception where...

Spent 3 of the best days of my life trekking with a group of people I'd never met before up in the hillside & surrounding forests. Our guide, Jack, who originates from one of the tribes was superb! His knowledge and friendliness knew no bounds, he was a really good cook also! Would recommend this adventure to anybody, especially if...

We had two nights here. Our room 301 was quite a large room with a massive bed (although very squeaky). The hotel is a good 10 mins walk to chiang mai gate. Staff are all friendly. Tours were over priced at the hotel and the shower could have been better but for £17 a night it was what we expected

These rooms are horrible. Very strong mildew smell in both rooms we were shown, and the ceiling fan was shaking like it was about to fall off the ceiling when turned on. I don't consider myself a picky person as far as travel accommodations go as a backpacker, but this place is pretty subpar. The food they serve in the...

BMP was booked via TAT in Bangkok. Likely paid more than booking independently. Needed to upgrade at addtional cost given condition of room was poor. Overall friendly service but property disappointing. Breakfast/bar overall good at BMP. Did a two day, one night trek to the Karen hill tribe. Guides very good. Certainly recommend the hike and would consider the 2...

I didn't know much about this treck untill it was actually happening. I knew about seeing tribes people and seeing elephants, I was dubious about both these things as I wondered how would they compare to the usual tourism attractions. I was also suspicious about the elephant treck, I.didn't want to get involved if they seemed to be mistreated. The...

Like many others, our BMP journey started in Bangkok when a smiling face approached us on the street with some great local knowledge. 40 baht later with a tuk-tuk ride around the city, we were brought to a T.A.T (government tourist office), who booked us a trip north to Chaing Mai for a 3 day trek in the jungle with...

The trek through Chang Mai was really cool. We loved the hiking and staying in the bamboo huts near the village people. Our guide, Jungle Jeo was hilarious and we had so much fun with him. The whole BMP staff is really helpful but the rooms weren't anything special.

I hate to leave a bad review but I was tricked into this place by T.A.T and the rooms where way below average, filthy and full of damp. I had to request to change rooms because of such filth.. both rooms I had to ask for them to change the sheets as it looked like they hadn't been change since...
