I've stayed many times in Chiang mai , but as was arrving after a long haul flight I booked on line to avoid the door to door checking of rooms and prices .I have to say paying 400 bhat for a fan room I would rather of checked out other guest houses. The room itself was clean and large but...

Very basic but clean with air con rooms and private bathrooms. The owner was expecting me as if booked on line and greeted me by name which was a nice touch. The only reason I didn't give it 5* is I'd left my razor and wanted to try and get it back as I can't find fusion razors here. The...

Simple and clean room, bed not very comfortable but for this price it was perfect for us. Plenty of hot water, we had a small balcony, so we were able to dry our clothes. The guesthouse is only 10 minutes walk away from the market, good location.

While the location is great there is no staff at night and no locked gate. As a solo female traveller i didn't get a good feeling from this place and ended up only staying one night to find a better place.

We just wanted a simple but clean place to crash down for the night and this fitted the bill. We booked in advance by phone. When we turned up, late afternoon, the guest house was locked up - not a welcoming start - but there was a handwritten note on the entrance door giving a phone number. We called and...

The room was big and clean. Big plus. Also walking distance of the nightmarket. The service is medium. The staff looked tired. It's in a small alley. So you could easely walk by it. So keep your eyes ipen. Total a good stay.

Nice spacious room with a TV and hot shower. You won't need the air con it gets chilly at night. In a great location in the centre of the old town and down a nice quiet back street. There is not always someone at reception so a little tough if you want some advice but they have a useful system...

Basic, clean and comfortable accommodation. Good location! Nice and quite ideal for a full night's sleep. The front desk is not always manned which was not a problem for us. We definitely would stay here again. We should have stayed here longer and not moved guesthouse.

For $11 a night, for an en suite room, I couldn't complain. I didn't see any staff very often but every couple of days I had fresh sheets and towels in my room. The beds were very springy- something that didn't bother me but may affect some people.... The cable TV had at least 3 or 4 channels of continuous...

After staying here for two nights i'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. We stayed in a fan room for a few days for 350 baht per night. The room is clean and quite big, and I felt like my belongings were safe there even though there was no locker to use. The free wifi worked well and it...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Thailand city of Chiang Mai has a striking mountain backdrop, over 300 temples and a historical aura. It's also a modern, friendly, internationally-flavoured city with much to offer the visitor - food, cheap and clean accommodation and shopping are all top quality and cheap. Visitors to Chiang Mai often stay longer than planned, simply because the atmosphere is so relaxing, the facilities cheap and the options for entertainment and activity numerous. Our guesthouse is located on a quaint soi in the heart of Chiang Mai’s walled, old city. T-Room Guesthouse is within close walking distance to many of Chiang Mai’s most explored sites such as the Night Market, Tha Phae Gate, Wat Prasing, Sunday Street Market and Wat Chedi Luang as well as dozens of restaurants, galleries and night spots. T-Room Guesthouse has 18 rooms, immaculately maintained, tastefully appointed, king size and twin rooms - each with private shower, bathroom, satellite television and the most importantly our friendly staff. Select upper floor rooms offer cityscape and mountain views. We look forward to extending our Northern Thai hospitality to you, your family and friends! ... more   less
