My friend and I were visiting Thailand for the very first time, which can be amazing and fun but also intimidating. We went to the place we had booked in advance, and after seeing the place, we decided to have a look around at our options. We happened upon the Sira and went inside to look at a room. We... More

The ambiance of the hotel gave a home like feel for such a long stay. It was nice to have english owners that were able to give great insite on... More

A very belated review of the Sira as we stayed in Feb this year. We arrived very tired and very early after the overnight train from Bangkok and were lucky to be able to check in early to the room. After the limited space and sleep of the train, the Sira is calm and tranquil from the moment you arrive.... More

We spent 5 wonderful nights in one of the Lanna rooms at the Sira Boutique Hotel. The hotel and room are beautiful and the staff is fantastic, always eager to help. The hotel's owners, Robb and Barbara are also very helpful and friendly. We thought it was a great location, as it is within the Old City. Tuk-tuks are always... More

We are on the return leg of our travels and coming back to Bangkok reminded us of a miserable Songkran that we spent at the Sira Hotel in April. The reviews were magnificent and we ignored the couple of poor ones.. at our cost. The hotel is nicely decorated and furnished. But.. 1.The noise in the rooms at the front... More

During the festival of Song Kran the whole of Chiang Mai is very busy & very noisy from dawn till dusk for 3 to 4 days as this is the official Thai New Year. It is near impossible to get transport at this time as the roads are gridlocked & regardless of whether you managed to flag down a tuk... More

I am currently staying at the Sira Boutique hotel. Having travelled all accross South East Asia for the last 5 months I can say that this hotel is unmatched by any other. For the traveller who wants luxury at a more than reasonable price this hotel speaks value. Rob and Julie (the property owners) cannot do enough for you, booking... More

My wife and I stayed at SIra for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon in Thailand. We found the hotel on Tripadvisor, and I contracted the hotel directly. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, and the property was great. One minor complaint, that I saw in other reviews, is that the beds are VERY firm. (My wife... More
