Stayed in one of the standard rooms which was great for what we needed. The bathroom could have done with a bit of modernization but it couldn't be faulted on cleanliness. Only downside is there is no breakfast included and the restaurant on site is a bit expensive for the standard of food provided. On the plus side there's an... More

Our party of 6 stayed here recently for the Songkran holidays. My girlfriend and I paid extra for a superior room in the rear block and the others in standard rooms. All rooms were clean with good beds, rooms cleaned daily. The pool was lovely as was the newly refurbished restaurant. What really made our stay excellent was the three... More

We liked staying at Manee house. The location in the old town is great, walking distance to the market (Talat somphet) and a lot of cafés and restaurants, including Blue Diamond. There's a pretty Wat next door which we could see from the window. We had a standard room on the third floor which was nice and bright, with a... More

This was the most stressful and worst stay of my life. This is not because if the rooms which are nice but purely because of the staff who are the rudest staff I have met in the whole two years I have travelled Asia. The staff not only harassed me but followed me to my room when coming home claiming... More

We really enjoyed staying in this guesthouse when we were in Chiang Mai! We were looking for something affordable, conveniently located in the city center, and with a pool to enjoy on hot afternoons. We found this place online, and it was perfect!! The room was modern, spacious and clean, overlooking the pool. There is a little restaurant onsite, and... More

I have stayed here previously a year ago. The location is superb - in a quite street inside the old city, yet walking distance to restaurants and bars. There is a lovely pool, and newly renovated restaurant out the front. The new rooms behind the pool are lovely. Overall the place represents excellent value and a great place to stay... More

My family and I stayed her for 5 nights over x-mas and just loved it. Great room in the new building and the staff was very helpful. Excellent location - in a nice quiet area of the old city - you can walk pretty much everywhere. Both of our boys got food poisoning (NOT AT MANEE HOUSE) - so we... More

Conveniently located in a city centre, with most of the main gates and temples nearby. The staff is helpful and room was clean and tidy. Albeit it is a bit more expensive than Thai average. There is a swimming pool but water is really cold.

I have just returned from Chiang Mai and this place is a gem amongst stones. It all starts at the reception where you get greeted by a gorgeous young Chinese lady, see is attentive, speaks perfect English and nothing is to much trouble. I was booked in on the third floor, the room was very clean, and completely fit for... More
