I spent 2 nights there . The room wis spacious with a ceiling fan with the necessary furniture towels shampoo soaps and so on. A tv too but no need to use it. Located by the river the sight is fabulous...and easy way to reach the night bazar. Good meals and nice employees

Beautiful budget Guesthouse, with clean and comfortable rooms. This is the perfect place to sit and drink your morning coffee in a quiet and peaceful setting. Also, the Thai Green Curry I ordered here was some of the best I had on our whole trip. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We ended up staying an extra night because...

The riverside location is the best part about this hotel. It does make for a peaceful atmosphere, and it is nice that you can eat or hang out while looking at the river. However, this hotel is outside of the center of Chiang Mai, far enough so that your only option is to flag down a songthaew on the busy...

My second stay at the Hollanda montri guesthouse. Not much has changed, still fabulous. Staff are very friendly, spacious rooms, comfortable bed & excellent digital TV. Beautiful spot to have your breakfast in the morning, next to the river watching the monks pass by.

Stayed here 3 nights last week in a solo one bedroom for only 25USD per night. Great service, clean room, affordable, and just a quick tuk tuk from anywhere in the city. They have a nice restaurant / lounge on the river that is great for a quick breakfast or an afternoon beer. Very laid back and a great experience....

Decently priced rooms, great food, and a quiet location make this a great little guesthouse. It's a decent walk from the old city so you need to get a Tuk tuk for trips into town. There are LOTS of mosquitoes so make sure you have spray (although the staff put out very helpful mosquito coils for you)!

I have mixed feelings about this guesthouse. The rooms are big with good air conditioning, clean, and the reception area is cool and relaxing right on the water with really nice food. The downside is it is far from the city center, but it's on a busy road/the river path doesn't go anywhere so we didn't enjoy any long walks...

Could not use free bikes because they were broken. Room was clean with hot shower. Food was ok. All in all not exactly what we had expected but still a nice place to stay if you prefer to be in a quiet area.

stayed one week; they have created an atmosphere of the country inside the city; rooms, rates are fine; owners and staff are very friendly; the veranda is on the river under old huge trees and is quite nice; food is fine; other Top restaurants are close by (recommend Natwat and the restaurant right next door); have tuk-tuk; walking on the...

“Consider booking the 2nd floor, as first- floor room windows look out into a narrow causeway and cinder- block wall. Assuming they will acknowledge you had made the request in the first place. ( reader, up to you to decide who to believe - could kick myself for not having obtained a written confirmation of the room type.) This is a low-end hostel - we were disappointed, as previous reviews had lead us to expect better. Truly sorry to have to make this report.”
