This was my first stay at Hilton Pattaya, but will definitely not be my last. For context, I am a Diamond member and this was a paid stay, not points. I received an informative email ahead of my stay that included instructions to ask at reception to be escorted to the Club Lounge for check in, which I did and it was a very pleasant check in experience. We had booked the basic room, but we received an upgrade to an ocean facing executive room that was HUGE with a very large bathtub build into the very large balcony. The room was so large that it could have easily been divided into a suite in most hotels, but I liked the one large open room.
With Diamond status, we opted for the breakfast buffet and were not disappointed. The weather was perfect and we chose outdoor seating. The buffet had every kind of breakfast food imaginable and I would return here just for the breakfast. Evenings in the Club Lounge had a nice selection of canapés and drinks and such a wonderful staff. We did eat one night at the outdoor restaurant on top a bit late after a show. It does go for the "nightclub" vibe but it was not too loud and the food was spectacular. Being Diamond also gets you 20% off of all food in the restaurants (but not room service).
The hotel gave us a 1pm checkout which allowed us to enjoy a fabulous lunch at Drift before we left. My only complaint, and a mild one, is the seating at Drift. They have these large round "beds" on islands on a pool of water which we opted out of and chose the regular outdoor seating. The seats are so deep and the tables are so low that it is not conducive to a good eating position. Hopefully on the next renovation, they can provide some more appropriate lounge seating for dining. Everything else at this resort is fantastic and we will be back!

Well this was my second stay at Hilton Pattaya and it was just as great as the first time. One of the best Hilton properties I've stayed at and I've stayed at a few around this beautiful world. The views are absolutely amazing, the executive lounge was probably the best one I've visited with good food and great drinks. Room service was really flexible and I want to really thank them as I was usually leaving my room late afternoon, but they made sure it was neat and tidy each time. The staff was so friendly and made me feel welcomed from check in to check out. The location is centrally located so I was able to pretty much get to any place within a few minutes. Also helps it's right next to Central Festival mall so any shopping needs that I had, i literally was able to be inside the mall in less than 30 seconds. That was also great! They have an awesome pool as well. The view is one of the best in the city. The only thing i'm kicking myself about is not checking out the Horizon rooftop bar, however, my next visit, I will definitely be checking it out! I will always have a stay in Hilton when I am in town as it is just too good to pass up.

Where do I start with one of my favorite hotel in the World? This is my go-to hotel when I visit Pattaya.
Hotel Ground 5/5 Meticulously maintained from top to bottom.
Room 5/5 Bed is on the softer side which I prefer. Great pillows and excellent amenities in the bathroom. Towels are mostly new and thick.
Pool 5/5 One of the best views in Pattaya. Plenty of space but can get busy at times.

From Pookie, Jess and rest of the staff in the lounge to Joe the hotel porter, everyone is there to make your stay as memorable as possible. I wish I can remember everyone's name but rest assured, all of them are great. and I mean ALL of them.
Final Thoughts I've traveled quite extensively and there is a reason I've stayed in this hotel a multiple times. It can be quite pricey compared to some of the other properties in Pattaya, but I would gladly pay the difference to experience what this hotel has to offer. Would I stay here again? Absolutely without a doubt.

This was my third stay at Hilton Pattaya and they've all been excellent; well above the typical Hilton experience.
The world class service experience starts at check-in for elite HHonors members where youre escorted to the club lounge to complete the process. I arrived around 10am and was offered breakfast while the associate handled the check-in process. I was provided early check-in as well as an upgrade to a higher room category than I'd booked. Both very well received benefits based on my HHonors Diamond status. Never expected but always appreciated!
My room was spacious and clean with an amazing view of Gulf of Thailand. For HHonors elites, comp breakfast is available in the restaurant or in the club lounge. Both were excellent though the restaurant offered a much greater variety. Staff in both areas are guest oriented and always included a smile.
I also had a couple sunset dinners at Horizon; their fine dining restaurant and lounge. Food was excellent and pricing wasn't too bad. The view is magnificent and if you're having dinner they will typically offer an intimate table facing the sunset. An amazing spot for a date night! One caveat (see photo) is many rude guests may intrude to get photos. The staff eventually noticed and blocked the area which was nice.
The pool area is very well kept and spacious with an ample amount of chairs spaced on three different deck areas. This offered many different areas for direct sunlight depending on the time of day. For sunbathers, this is a BIG PLUS as many hotel pools only get sunlight at certain time of the day. One minor issue was the pool water was quite chilly though I realize this is pretty standard in Asia. Poolside service was timely and friendly on all interactions with staff. Had snacks and beverages on multiple occasions and all food and drink was high quality and fresh. Fitness area is functional with nice views.
Overall I give this property a big thumbs up and look forward to my return.

We stayed in the King Hilton executive Premium oceanfront room. 65sqm. Unfortunately when we arrived there were small ants all over the bedside tables. But the staff quickly recognized the issue and comp'd us for drinks on the rooftop as well as a nice dinner the following night. They also moved us to a higher floor so we could change rooms.
The swimming pool was far too cold to enjoy. It needs to be at least partially heated. The service poolside, however was fantastic.
The lounge was great particularly for breakfast as well as an evening cocktail. Beware of that during cocktail hour there are only limited seats available so make sure you time it correctly.
Anything lower than the 16th floor you will probably hear the live music from the bars below.
Location wise it was quite perfect and easy to catch the small pickup truck taxis from in front of the hotel to all of the night spots.

The hotel is in a perfect location opposite the beach and attached to the shopping mall. Also 15 minutes walk to walking street.
The hotel is very clean and modern. The concierge staff are outstanding and always very friendly and remembered from previous visits.
Rooms have great views and housekeeping is excellent.
Gym is very basis and small. Pool has beautiful views and is great to swim in as a reasonable length.
Exec lounge staff are very friendly (especially the student guy with glasses who smiles at everyone). The lounge is very bright and with a nice balcony with 4 or 5 tables. Breakfast has a great variety and an extensive made to order menu - one of best of any hotel. Afternoon tea is also very pleasant and with many hotels having got rid of. Where the hotel fails is the evening service as if you come at 645pm, usually there is limited food, no glasses and no wine and so everyone waiting. I am not sure why they do not fully stock up on drinks as every day it was the same. The situation is even worse with the short hours of 5 to 7pm in the evening where as most Marriotts and many other Hiltons are 530 to 930pm. Even the basic Hiltons with short hours are 6 to 8pm and so more civilised. Perhaps a solution would be to bring back leaving spirits on display as the team cannot cope with serving and clearing tables with the limited manpower.
Perhaps the biggest disappointment was the billing error. I paid in the exec lounge and then back in the room I reviewed and it made no sense. I had 1 night on part points and cash and the next 6 as cash. They had charged me over thb 11,000 for first night instead of about thb 800. I challenged and they said was all right in the system and to show e mail. Eventually they found and admitted the system had somehow charged me a full rate as I was in a different room category for 1st night which they upgraded me to anyway (and the rest of stay) I got a refund but it questions the reliability of their systems and how often they overcharge guests who do not check the bill.
Despite evening staff shortages in the exec lounge and billing errors, it was overall a very enjoyable stay.

I booked an ocean front executive room at over 9,000 baht/night. It faced Beach road next to the mall on floor 21. A rock band was playing at night outside the mall and I could hear it in my room until past midnight. I went down to the front desk and complained and they changed me to an ocean view room on the other side of the hotel. I could no longer hear the noise. Also the balcony on the ocean view rooms are very small. You cannot sit out on the balcony, too narrow and no chair. But you could sit on the balcony of the ocean view room. Be wary of the ocean front rooms, not worth the extra 2000 baht
In the ocean view room, the shower water was cold, would never warm up after 15-20 minutes, even though the sink and bath water were hot. I complained and they said that they would have an engineer look into the problem. It was never fixed and I did not want to change rooms again. I just took a bath and did not shower.
The pool was very cold, much colder than I remember during past stays. No one was in the pool except for a few kids.
The gym is very small for a hotel of that size. I found a local gym on the other side of 2nd road.
Other than these issues, the staff were friendly and helpful. The executive lounge was not very crowded when I visited. Good location.

We just wrapped up a 2-night (July 6-8th) stay with 2 rooms for 4 adults and 2 kids (6 people total, ages 6, 8, 13, and 14, with the older two considered adults). They were able to get us connecting rooms, which was very convenient. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived, with staff greeting us and escorting us to the Diamond check-in area on the 33rd floor, where the Executive Lounge is located. They truly made us feel welcome throughout our stay, providing a level of diamond treatment that many places, especially in the U.S., often overlook, even though we were not expecting it.
The location is great, with the beach just across the street from the lobby, and the hotel has access to the mall from the 15th floor. Our kids loved the breakfast and especially the pool. We would highly recommend this hotel for families.

I have been coming to pattaya for over 30 years, mainly for business and as my son married a Thai girl from Bangkok for family holidays too. I always book my trips with American Express concierge service. They have been amazing for the past 15 years that I have used them.
This trip started with two weeks in Bangkok and three weeks in Pattaya, where we currently are. The past five years we have stayed at the hard rock hotel, which has a brilliant family vibe. This time for some reason, we decided to try the Hilton. There are 13 of us traveling with two extras that stayed for two nights, family of my daughter in law. So a total of 6 rooms. Remember, this is NOT a cheap hotel for anything.
On arrival, we met May, a lovely lady, very nice person and tried to check us in early. Couple of the rooms were not ready but all good we had lunch whilst waiting. May told us that the rooms we ordered were not what they had us down for so the executive rooms we booked throw Amex travel became standard rooms, still no problem it is what it is. But the issue was there was not enough beds in each room and we would need to pay for the extra beds lol no I don’t think so. May told me that all was good they would be complementary and not to worry. Until I went down to pay the bill half way through the stay and found one of the rooms had a 2700 per day charge on it for one of the beds. Of course I refused to pay for it. I told them that they knew how many people where coming so why would there not be enough beds?
We have been here just over a week and the staff in general are nice and helpful. The food is lovely, certainly have great chefs but the staff in the restaurant for breakfast are rude and rushed. They have some really rude floor staff that do not understand English and get things wrong on orders all the time.
This place is expensive one of the most expensive in the area for sure and you expect a different type of arrives. We eat at the Edge restaurant and the food was lovely, even with the £1000* price tag! Staff were very nice too. We had the fancy buffet which was amazing, spoilt by the floor staff again . We have done the spa couple of times too, these girls were amazing! But everything around this hotel is based on money,

The beachfront location combined with the high quality staff make this well worth the extra $. In the Executive Lounge, everyone was a model employee. Somehow Becca and Iu stood out in a great pool of talented people. I already miss this great hotel. It should be a training ground for all others in the hospitality industry!
