We’re located at the tranquil northern tip of Pattaya Bay, so we’ve got all of the sand, sea and surf covered. For added sparkle to your stay, we’re just as close to Pattaya’s modern city malls. The new Terminal 21 is just a short stroll away, and if you’re here for work, Pattaya’s business district is also within easy reach. It really couldn’t be more convenient for shopping too. Be sure to stop at the nearby vibrant street-side stalls to pick up some colourful gifts for your friends and loved ones back home.

Amari Pattaya earns accolades for its exceptional service, with many guests commending the friendly and attentive staff. Nestled in a prime location, the hotel is a stone's throw from the beach and nearby attractions, making it a hit for those keen to explore. While the spacious and clean rooms with breathtaking views are a highlight, some guests have pointed out maintenance issues. The ambiance is described as serene, contributing to a relaxing stay. However, the hotel's value for money has been questioned, with some travelers mentioning unexpected charges. Despite this, the cleanliness and extensive amenities, including a well-maintained swimming pool, are well-received.

We rested for two weeks with my wife and 2 children (6 and 2.5 years old). We were very pleased with the really large rooms with a huge bathroom, good sound insulation, excellent breakfasts with a large selection of different cuisines, good location of the hotel and, of course, a gorgeous cascade of swimming pools with slides for all ages, children did not climb out of there for hours, and life-saving jelly ice cream in the bar near the swimming pool. Of the small, but negative: the rooms are quite tired, they need renovation; they clean up so well (but this is everywhere in Thailand); saw small cockroaches in the room a couple of times; It’s better not to eat according to the menu in a restaurant - expensive, average portions (if you don’t want to go anywhere, there’s an Italian restaurant nearby called Prego, where for the same money it’s 5 times better); It’s difficult to communicate at the reception desk, their English is not understandable at all, but in general they are very responsive and helpful. However, the hotel left a very good impression.

We are family with twins, (including Nannies of 2 for our twins). So totally 6 pax for this trip. We paid upgraded to Family Suites (new low rise building) which was worth for and it was the best for our 3 days 2 nights. Full facilities with super friendly staffs, especially bellboy (driver from Ocean building to Suites building). I'm always buy voucher when this hotel join the travel exhibition. Or even it's not available, Amari Pattaya always the first choice if we need to spend time with family in Pattaya. Highly recommended !!!

The rooms should be improved to be cleaner. The restaurant should be bigger and not crowded with tables sitting too close together. Some of the power plugs in the rooms didn't work. The receptionist provides good service. The golf cart driver is not okay with driving very fast.

Informed from the beginning that there are children who should have bathroom equipment. Informed from the beginning that there are children who should have all bathroom equipment. There is no need to ask. One bucket of ice water should be free and the next bucket can be charged for a fee.

A hotel with lots of rules. I'll start in order. They ordered a biblio globe from the operator.
1) arrived at the hotel at 14-00, while the queue for check-in, everyone checked 14-30, but you need to wait 30 minutes, because such rules.
2) the rooms in general are still fresh, nice, the cleaners are not quite adequate, the first morning I was woken up by them, the girl rang the doorbell until I answered her. It wasn't 8:00 a.m., until the alarm. Opened it, told me to come back later. Gone for breakfast, come back, another janitor is changing beds for some reason. Apparently the rules are to wake up guests and change beds. Although the floor wasn't wiped where they dug it, it stayed that way. Not particularly clean in general.
3) breakfast is apparently Asian five, there is something to eat, there is an area for Chinese and Hindus, as there are a great many of them here. But again, there's a rule, everyone queues up, says the room number and you have to wait to be escorted to the available table. But where's the logic, the two of us, we're looking at 7 Hindus. They're waiting a long time for a big table. Why would we stand around waiting for them to go to jail? Rules again.
4) Pools in the territory. They came up with a rule for dividing children and adults. I have a swimmer's kid and he's not 12 years old, so we can't even go to the big pool together. He'll follow you and suffer that he's not 12 years old and can't swim in this pool. It's a private pool for adults. What an idiot, we're here with our son and we're supposed to swim in a frog with little kids. So he even called the receptionist to explain to me that this pool is for adults. Why an adult zone if it's a family hotel and everyone has kids. Where's the adequacy?
Pros include a convenient location, a close exchange, a terminal-- a huge shopping mall, a bunch of different cafes with food.
As for the sea, as the hotel guide said, that drainage occurs on Wednesdays and ths, so these days do not swim. In others, you can, but by no means swallow water.

We just had a regular Deluxe room. This was a good size with large windows giving a partial view of the beach and neighbouring hotel. Nice big bathroom with a double sink and separate rain shower. Small balcony accessed from the bathroom.
The swimming pool was big with a main pool and another couple of children’s pool’s with slides. Lots of sun beds available. We arrived at the end of Chinese New Year and it was very busy and hard to get a bed but by the end of the week it was much quieter and easier to find one. The lifeguards were all friendly and helpful and always said hello and got our towels for us.
We went out most days for lunch but once at the beginning and again on the 6th day we were asked by a lifeguard accompanied by the same young security guy if we were staying here. It’s great security is so strict but it was the same guy twice. Maybe ask for room numbers when entering the hotel to avoid being followed and assumed we’d walked in off the street to use the pool.
Even asking for room numbers when getting towels, this would also stop the lazy people leaving used towels on the sun beds as you don’t know if they’re coming back or not.
We had a lovely stay and always enjoy staying in ONYX properties as we’re never disappointed.

It is not easy for me to rate the hotel as a whole. In my opinion, you can have two completely different hotel experiences here. One in the suites, and the other in the "tower" hotel building. We stayed in the suites - so this review only refers to them.
We had a 2 bedroom suite - it was very well maintained, clean and quiet. On the 3rd floor (there are 7 floors in total) you already have a beautiful view of the hotel grounds and the bay of Pattaya Beach. The fridge was filled with drinks when we moved in, and some snacks were ready to eat. Enough water bottles were refilled every day - 2-3 per person. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
Breakfast can be taken in the hotel or in the Prego restaurant. Extensive buffet breakfast, typical of the hotel - very loud, canteen feel, sticky floor, little space. In Prego - a small buffet with cheese/sausage/fruit/juices and a la carte egg dishes, sandwiches, waffles, etc. all very lovingly prepared in the highest quality - and very friendly service staff. We only wanted to try the hotel breakfast once, but quickly left the room again... but the selection looked very varied.
The pool area is spacious and beautiful - unfortunately not as well maintained as you would expect from a 5*. Due to the many families with small children, it was quite lively and loud (but that's absolutely OK)... there is a toddler area, a great slide and 2 other pools - all connected to each other. The lowest pool is designated as a "quiet" zone, which unfortunately was not observed and not checked. The cushions on the loungers are a bit "old" and worn. The pool bar looks quite nice at first glance, but unfortunately the tables were rarely or not cleared at all. A lot of people also ate around the pool - so there were always chips, pieces of fruit etc. on the floor around the pool.
The beach is separated by Beach Road, but is very easy to reach in a few steps - there is a separate swimming area right in front of the hotel, loungers and a lot of beach with few people. The sea was clean and pleasant to swim in.

A lot of things are within walking distance - along Beach Road with its many restaurants and bars, Terminal 21 shopping center (4min) or Sanctuary of Truth (approx. 45min) - so the location is ideal for Pattaya in my opinion.

There are also many beautiful golf courses in the area - the concierge was very helpful and was able to arrange good packages - including transfer and rental clubs.

All in all - the suites and breakfast in the Prego restaurant could be given 5*, apart from the shortcomings in the pool area. The rest - more like 3*-4*, as it feels a bit like mass processing.

Perhaps the extremely friendly staff could be trained to advise guests to be more considerate and in particular the "quiet" area in the pool area could also be seen as such.

Just returned to Pattaya and enjoyed another wonderful stay at the Amari Ocean Tower enjoying Grand Deluxe Ocean View rooms with superb uninterrupted views of Pattaya Bay allowing easy access into the city’s tourist areas either by walking or using a baht buster.

The location is ideal, the staff are warm friendly and welcoming and the rooms are adequately stocked with toiletries and mini bar selection while offering very comfy Super King beds, robes, slippers, safety box, hairdryer, large TV and of course air conditioning an absolute essential!

The sun loungers are comfy with thick pads and loads of fresh sun towels, the pool is clean and the grounds are well maintained.

Our rooms came with access to the executive lounge on the 19th floor offering a breakfast service as the main restaurant was like an extremely busy canteen. It also offered afternoon tea before switching to complimentary drinks and canapés during with an extensive list of cocktails and international spirits and we received an excellent service from Moniker (Mo) and Jin, thanks!

We tried Prego Italian restaurant and the food was delicious & very well presented but I would have expected Amari residents to receive some sort of discount but this wasn’t offered.

On the whole another great stay and would certainly recommend the Amari Pattaya to couples, families and business travellers alike.

We really liked the hotel on the central beach of Amari Pattaya with its territory and a small water park for children. Already entering the hotel you feel a special atmosphere of rest and relaxation: flowers, aroma sticks, beautiful interior. We booked a deluxe room, but we were upgraded to a deluxe family category at no extra charge. Room with an area of 69 sq.m. with one double bed and one bunk bed. We had a view of the city from our room and balcony. The room has 2 large panoramic windows. I really liked that in the bathroom, in addition to the standard set of towels (bath, for hands, feet), there were small towels. Very high quality miniatures with a pleasant aroma with shampoo, shower gel, hair balm, body lotion. The bathroom has a shower and a bath, 2 sinks, and a toilet. Overall the room is comfortable and cozy. We were pleased with the breakfasts; there was a large selection of fruits (apples, guava, melon, watermelon, bananas, passion fruit, longan, etc.), juices, and pastries. Every day dishes of Chinese, Thai, Korean, and European cuisines were presented. Noodle and egg station. Baking waffles. Vegetables, lettuce, sliced ham and sausages, cheese, including blue cheese. The hotel has a beautiful area with recreation areas, swimming pools and slides. The beach is across the street from the hotel. I give the hotel a solid 5.

We stayed here for 3 nights with a 5 year old and our stay was excellent. Hotel is conveniently located in a peaceful area yet very close to the hustle. Rooms were in a very good condition and we took ocean view room which had a very nice view of the ocean. The hotel has an excellent swimming pool which was like a mini water park. Staff of the hotel were very good. Breakfast had lots of options including Indian vegetarian food. Would love to visit the hotel again soon.

We have stayed at Amari Pattaya for 2 nights from 22nd to 24th January 2025..! Hospitality and property was amazing but not really happy with food as vegetarian. Restaurant staff was not cooperative enough to consider our request regarding food.also language is barrier for them..The Staff is not understanding English. They were not paying enough attention towards vegetarian counters and food requests..! On request of fresh indian bread called paratha they just reheated the existing one and served. Also on second day they didn’t serve better. Breads, and almost everything bakery items were containing eggs. Really not happy with food and support regarding food requests. out of many items only 2 indian items available with very poor quality. I suggest them to keep good indian chef.

I suggest vegetarian people should stay away with stay.
