I booked this hotel on booking.com and omited to check the google earth view. Do it before you book and decide if you want to stay looking out over lanes of traffic. None of the several reviews mentioned this major problem. We decided to cancel the booking immediately - this cost of one night's stay $45 and the $20 airport...

This hotel is great as had sizeable rooms and is in a great location so you can walk everywhere. The staff were really helpful and gave us tips of the local area. Breakfast was also great! Would stay here again

The staff were not so friendly, especially the receptionist! She can't even give us her smile. Rooms and toilets are old. And their food were so limited (unlike with the other hotels we have stayed in Hanoi). They served us also with the wrong dessert. I had no choice but to eat it. But still thankful, for not charging us...

We have the right choice of hotel, Thanks Old Quarter Hotel. Staffs are friendly and helpful, and guide us with their local experience. Location is fantastic, walking distance to look for foods, shopping, and attraction. Room is big and clean, we really feel like at home.

This hotel is great. The staff is friendly and helpfull. Big rooms and the ability to leave your bags after you check out. Even for at least a couple of days, so you can do an excursion and take only the bags you need. The included breakfast was decent. The location of the hotel is simply perfect. I would definatly...

Ive been to this hotel with my friends only once. I considered the services to be averaged. The room is big and cleanliness can still be improved, the bathroom has a see-thru partition with no bidet. The site is very strategic to the heart of old Hanoi. I like the smile in the frontdesk but she seldom does it. Even...

The place of the hotel is center to what a foreigner is looking, near to the hi way, night market, lake and to many restaurants that we could have meals. The hotel is not so clean and d staff are not accomodating. They did not know what a customer service is. We did not feel that we are at home...

Im not satisfied with our stay in this hotel. Yes, it really lived out its name of being "old!" Good job with that! Our electric fan in our room overheated and woke us up with the smell of burning rubber! I can tolerate that incident. But, what I am very dissatisfied about our stay was the poor service of their...

We used the hotel as our base and visited 4 times over 20 days. Ling and his team couldn't have been more helpful, organising airport transfers, a day tour and other advice. The hotel is in a great location, right on the edge of the old quarter with many restaurants within easy walking distance. The breakfasts were lovely with a...
