Stayed at Camellia 6 for about 2 weeks while I was waiting for an apartment to open. Chose it because of the positive reviews about service and for the reasonable price. I wasn't disappointed! I chose a small room and opted out of breakfast, so it was only $12/night. You can find cheaper but I can't imagine you'd find the...

On my second trip to Hanoi I again stayed at the Camellia 6 Hotel, it was like coming home. Phuong and her husband Anh greeted me like an old friend. Still a great place, right in the heart of the Old Quarter, clean rooms and great amenities. Once again I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for...

I stayed at this hotel in May and was really pleased with everything. I booked a delux room which was great for around $20. It was a big room with 2 beds, a bathtub which was a treat and a balcony. It also had plenty of TV channels and a fridge. The rooms are basic but really clean. I saw...

Hotel is in a small quiet lane (for Hanoi standards) right in the heart of the old quarter. Rooms simple but large with everything you need eg AC, TV, fridge. Breakfast has a choice of options (rather than only eggs and baguette), it's simple but nice. Staff are very friendly and nice - we had a problem with our booking...

I have stayed here 3 times now, can highly recommend. The manageress speaks excellent English, husband speaks French, and they actually go out of their way to help with all your requests for info - such a change in Asia where often you will get enthusiastic nodding, not much else! They even took me by motorbike to a tailor. Rooms...

The hotel is very well located in the old center of Hanoi in a narrow street. However the staff was not very helpful. Nobody was available for check in when we arrived at 7.00 am with the night bus (the guy was still sleeping and we had to wake im up), and the day after we had to leave at...

This is a nice little hotel in a great location on a quiet lane just 3 very fascinating blocks from the lake in the old quarter. Deluxe rooms were large with a nice balcony overlook the lane. Excellent tomato omelette, toast, juice, coffee for breakfast and really helpful owners, all for $21. Have them pick you up at the airport.

We stayed here for two weeks in January 2012. The hotel is wonderfully located in a quiet lane near Hoàn Kiếm Lake, in the Old Quarter. The rooms are very clean and serviced each day. The owners speak excellent English and are very helpful. Make sure you get a deluxe room, as the standard rooms are too small. The deluxe...
