In a way you encounter Vietnam here. The view from the 9th floor is great, but the city noise comes to your windows mixed with dust, bike exhaust and the smell of food. You find you bathtub clogged and a young guy tries to fix it, but never solves the problem. To anything that's a little wrong you hear a...

Antiquated plumbing, peeling paint, dusty shelves, dirty bathroom, smiling but helpless staff, appalling breakfast with water added to jam to increase quantity. Should put off any sensible traveller from booking a room in this hotel! On the plus side, location and price.

We had to walk through several back alleys, and get motorbikes moved from the front door just to get in with our luggage. The staff were pushy about booking tours at check in, the room was basic backpacker level (nothing like the pictures), the wifi did not work in our room or at reception, and we felt like we were...

we paid $30 for a triple room for one night. The room was big and the beds comfy but the sheets had stains and holes in them, the bathroom was very old and outdated with a dodgy toilet seat and shower head. The room itself has snacks and water on display next to the teas and coffees, with no written...

Great location, amazing staff, good breakfast by Vietnam standards, they'll do anything for you (washing, lifts on motorbikes, taxi etc) but the rooms are a bit "meh"... aircon didn't work properly and 9th floor is minging. If you stay here choose a room on a lower floor and you'll be happier!

We slept two nights in paramount hotel. All in all we had a pleasant stay. Bed was confortable and the room big enough with a tv. Just the bathroom was a bit smelly, but the hotel is not the newest. For 20dollar per night it had a good price and a central location.

We stayed here for only one night. The staffs were nice and friendly. But we didn't enjoy the room half as much. The bathroom was leaking and dirty. The room had a weird photo that gave us a really weird vibe. Overall, the bathroom was the biggest downpoint.

I stayed at this hotel several times during my business trips because the staff are great. The breakfast is plenty and with a fairly good range of choices but after a few days it might get boring because I think they always offer the same. The rooms are spacious and with all amenities. I never had any problems in the...

i stayed four nights. Central to all the sites. Very friendly staff and I was amazed by the generosity of Hoang Le who works as a bell boy. He doesn't ring bells, he's an articulate, generous and very intelligent young man. We became friends and I his limited time took me to Ho Ch Minhs memorial, his house, the war...

I am not sure how this hotel can be a 4 Star but maybe I just have higher standards. I really don't like giving negative reviews but this one deserves it. Although the service as great and the people did their best to help the hotel is just really bad. We stayed her a night because Maison D'orient was booked...
