Small, simple and affordable. If you're happy to have a small cramped room with a bunk bed for you and your friend, basic amenities and a shared bathroom then this is a pretty good deal. Service was basic and the location was good if you're interested in exploring the old quarter. Not sure how often they wash the sheets, but...

When we arrived the staff was super helpful and friendly, we booked a private room the first time and is a small room, good for three but difficult to put all our stuff there, anyway we work it out. The internet is ok, the bathrooms are not super clean but ok for what we paid. The breakfast is good, free...

The location is good as beer streets and a lot of stalls nearby. The area crowded with tourists. Can visit west lake and some landmarks by walking. The receptionist is very helpful. Price affordable but the room is kinda small.

Around the old quarter there are plenty of party Hostels and quieter ones. Box hotel is the latter. Interesting interiors and concept for the rooms. It felt rather comfortable for my boyfriend and I. We stayed in the twin room with two beds. Bathrooms and common areas could use a little bit of improvement in the cleanliness department but the...

Only a few minutes away from popular spots (Hoan Kiem, French Quarter, other backpacker hostels). Rooms are tiny but comfortable enough to get a good nights sleep. Staff are very helpful especially with booking transportation and tours.

We stayed here for one night before we headed to the airport the next morning so we didn't really need anything special. However, it is basically just a box. Our 'room' was a double bed, with a single bed above it. The room smelt rather damp and the aircon would only reach the top bunk. The bed is also on...

The box hotel was a really interesting hotel. The rooms were literally like boxes with enough walking space to prop up a bag or two and that was about it. In the family rooms you could not even get your bag on the floor. No TV's, but good solid wifi connections throughout. Bathrooms were communal, two to a floor and...

Really nice hostel in a perfect location. Perfect to step onto the hustle and bustle of the streets. Rooms are as advertised and the air conditioning is a life saver. The staff are helpful at the front desk and booked our bus to HaLong bay straight away. Would recommend.

Woke up red hot one night. Had to go down stairs in my boxers to get the aircon turned back on.. was bloody boiling apart from that not bad for money by cramped because of no storage for bags and not able to have privacy in bathrooms because they're shared
