Only a few minutes away from popular spots (Hoan Kiem, French Quarter, other backpacker hostels). Rooms are tiny but comfortable enough to get a good nights sleep. Staff are very helpful especially with booking transportation and tours.

We stayed here for one night before we headed to the airport the next morning so we didn't really need anything special. However, it is basically just a box. Our 'room' was a double bed, with a single bed above it. The room smelt rather damp and the aircon would only reach the top bunk. The bed is also on...

The box hotel was a really interesting hotel. The rooms were literally like boxes with enough walking space to prop up a bag or two and that was about it. In the family rooms you could not even get your bag on the floor. No TV's, but good solid wifi connections throughout. Bathrooms were communal, two to a floor and...

Really nice hostel in a perfect location. Perfect to step onto the hustle and bustle of the streets. Rooms are as advertised and the air conditioning is a life saver. The staff are helpful at the front desk and booked our bus to HaLong bay straight away. Would recommend.

Stayed here twice whilst we were in Hanoi. Great location and unique concept. Staff were amazing, especially Kevin, we stayed the second because of him!! Hostel organised our travels to Sapa and Halong Bay. Would recommend

Woke up red hot one night. Had to go down stairs in my boxers to get the aircon turned back on.. was bloody boiling apart from that not bad for money by cramped because of no storage for bags and not able to have privacy in bathrooms because they're shared

We have been here twice, before and after our trip to Halong Bay. Nice and clean hotel in the heart of the old quarter. Convenient location, walking distance to every attraction in Hanoi town. Good bars and restaurants around the hotel, as well as stores to buy souvenirs or cheap backpacks. Housekeeping service everyday and free bottled water provided daily....

We stayed at Box Hotel for 2 nights while in Hanoi and our room was the size of a double bed, with a single Bunk above where we kept our bags. The room was cosy (although had air con too) but due to the Typhoon outside the A/C did mean our clothes didn't dry too quickly. Exacerbated by the lack...

Box hotel only charge 6 usd per pax. It's clean and nice. However the space are not spacious but it's fair enough to for backpacker. If you joining any day trip to halong bay or nearby places. It might be a ideal place for you to stay over. Staff are nice and very helpful. It's walking distance for you to...
