Stayed here for just 4 hours, but it wouldn't have made any difference if it had been 5 minutes. God forbid overnight. It looks like a prison, smells like a prison, and might just as well be a prison. We were dragged here by our tour company, who suggested it to be a useful stopover, whilst waiting to board to... I have stayed at this hotel on my way from the train station (early morning Sapa arrival) to my Halong Bay cruise... Room was ok, breakfast was very basic but you can tell that the local stuff was doing it's best for their guests. For a short break it can be an ok option, but I would not recommend to... More

While I hate leaving poor reviews I feel I need to here.. My tour set me up with a hotel for a few hours to relax and shower before picking me up again. I've read the reviews - smoky rooms and dirty sheets / towels - and thought I could rise above it. The reviews were true, smoky rooms and... More

At the first time I came to Ha Noi, I did not know how to select the best place to stay then my Vietnamese friend intruduced me about Newmoon with in-expensive price. I stayed here for 2 days and 1 night. Everything was bright and clean, the staff was very friendly and so kind.

had shower and breakfast after arriving back from Sapa in the train station. Room was small but clean, so was the bathroom. Wifi was good, breakfast was nothing special at all, the breakfast area did not look hygienic at all. Thinking back, I might have better gone back to my Old Quarter hotel (La Siesta& Spa).

I stayed here just one night after being awake for over 24 hours traveling from California, so I was quite tired. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the modern and clean room and great view to railway station square. The room service for breakfast meal was wonderful. Also very great location, just cross the road to reach Hanoi central railway station and... More

We needed a room for 3 hours as we reached the train station at 4.30am and the next tour would start at 7.30am. We approached the hotel and asked for the price of a room. The receptionist surveyed us from top to bottom and finally quoted 400k dong for a room. We didn't like being surveyed and quoted accordingly. So... More

I was very satisfied with New Moon hotel. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Wifi worked fine, bathroom was always clean, the staffs, who were always at the reception, were very helpful and friendly. They were happy to assist with any directions. The location is good, very close to Hanoi old quarter however it is slightly tucked away but... More
