Fantastic hotel and located close to many areas of interest in Hanoi. Rooms were excellent and clean, with good facilities. Mr Winter was particularly helpful and obliging. I would definitely return to the hotel in future.

We stayed in the Royal Palace @ 18a Quan Street if that's the one as the sister hotel is very close by. As the reviewer said above, we had the 8th floor (top ) room and the lift only goes to the 7th so you have to walk up. There is a double and a single bed, your own desktop pc with your own router. The balcony is a good size with a table & 4 chairs (and the aircon units for the other rooms) but it was great to sit out after a days walking. The bathroom we had , had a Jacuzzi bath, with a shower attachment. It was not modern but it was clean and functioned. ( I think, but cannot confirm, there is another balcony room below as from the outside you can see two)
