We were allocated this hotel by the Exotissimo Travel Vietnam. This hotel cannot be recommended even for backpackers. The day we went there, the lift was out of order. The room was very small with practically no amenities. The toilet was smelling like an open cesspit. We refused to stay in this hotel, and was given another hotel after I...

Stayed here for 2 nights and 1 night on return from Halong Bay. Arrived first morning at 6.30 am and despite not being able to check in were made welcome. Spent a few hours, with a guide, experiencing Hanoi in the early morning. Arrived back at about 1100 and were given access to an upgraded room by 1200. On arrival...

The pictures on the booking sites are definitely deceiving. We got put in what felt like a box room that had one narrow window that looked directly onto a brick wall letting no natural light in. Loud music is played early until late from next door. Also had an issue with the air conditioning dripping one night and leaked through...

I would describe this as quite a quirky little hotel in a fantastic location in the middle of Hanoi old town. From here we were able to walk round all of the old town including the lake, the markets and all the fantastic places to eat and drink. The location is brilliant. The service from all the staff was superb...

We stayed at Hanoi Boutique Hotel for two nights and found the rooms to be underwhelming compared to the photos online. There was no shower - just a big bath with a hose and the laundry service was extremely expensive and not very efficient. On our last night ( after a night on Halong Bay) we were told the air...

We actually stayed in Hanoi Chic Boutique Hotel which is the sister hotel of the Hanoi Boutique Hotel. The room was spacious, nice furniture and bathroom, complimentary water, very good location etc. The staff was super friendly and helpful, recommending sightseeing and walking routes, also offered us to upgrade to a better room with small extra fee. Breakfast was also...

Just did not like it. Strange street to be on. Not the best location. Although close to things in old quarter. The rooms were outdsted. Lockers not working. Single lift. Simple breakfast. No. For the price, many better places in the same area.
