3 rooms and one AC unit worked, dirty bathroom with thick calcium deposits on shower faucets. Beds are hard as a rock ant the sheets are not soft. Paint from walls on the TV, terrible experience. I waited an hour to get in my room, went to locals walked in and were given room immediately. They didn’t like that room and came back. Five minutes later and were given a second room. I waited another 15 before my room was issued. They will only issue you one room key so your AC Hass to turn off every single time you walk out the door, which just makes the poor quality AC’s even worse. We had two nights booked here and canceled the second one and got a room across the street at the Tyrant.

Centrally located to explore Old Town, Hanoi and walking distance to the French Quarter. Hotel room is large and clean. Has a mini fridge and kettle with tea and coffee. Small bottle of water included and fridge is stocked with beer, pop and large water you can purchase. The bed is firm, air conditioning works. Bathroom amenities include a toothbrush which was great. The only thing they don’t have is hair conditioner (not sure any in Vietnam do). Breakfast is included and caters to locals and North Americans as they will fry you up eggs. The hotel can arrange private transport from the airport for $14 Cdn per person which is great.

Room Tip: Our room faced the street which is busy and noisy but by 11pm all is quiet.

Hotel located in old quarter and very convenient, you can get close to Vietnam people living. New hotel, very clean and comfortable The room decor is very modern and although it's not big in size. The room is very clean and it's very comfortable with netflix on tv,.Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed warmly, served with cold drink. The location is perfect, there's a convenience store (circle k) just right next door.Special thanks to Cuong and his Manager for arranging everything for giving me such a memorable experience.

Great location, close to Hoan Kiem Lake but hotel is not being maintained well, breakfast is mediocre at best, service is not good and two major renovation projects next door can cause a lot of noise.

This place was in a great location with THE most helpful staff and within a nice affordable price range. Lovely roof top bar which was awesome during the sunset into the evening. We loved it, only gripe is its in the party part of town so loud music nearby all hours of the night but we used ear plugs when sleeping and still loved the place

I haven't given this hotel full stars because I had a room with no windows, otherwise it would have been top marks, but for the money £22 per night, it was a very good find. The room as very adequate, a small safe in the cupboard and once bathroom. The only downside was that there wasn't any windows. I was only there for a couple of nights and it was booked by a friend. I would have chosen a room with a window. The staff were very good. They booked sleeper train tickets at a much lower price than the internet, printed the tickets and made sure were knew where to go, and booked a cab for the trip to the station. I would definitely recommend as long as you make sure the room has windows. If yo don't mind this then go ahead anyway and book. Breakfast was great too and well worth the money, and two minuted from the lake and bars, banks, city bus etc. Walking street is also two minutes walk at best, with many bars staying open late.

Nice location. Can go around in Old Quarter nearby the hotel. Receptionists are helpful. Overall service is excellent. Would like to suggest to extend breakfast dinning area bevause it's too crowded if you are late.

This is a fine little hotel, perfectly located in the Old Quarter, close to Hoan Kiem — the Lake where the traffic is banned at weekends, so that the surrounding area becomes a welcome pedestrian precinct. The hotel staff are amazingly helpful and resourceful. Best to go for their de luxe rooms, because the standard room may be a little poky, even windowless, but that is true all over Hanoi.

I was staying in Lefoyer Hotel with my family for 3 nights in the beginning of March and it was perfect ending of our journey all around Vietnam. The staff is very polite and helpful with whatever queries we have asked for - city tour, pick up from/to airport, extra towels for kids etc. I would like to emphasize its perfect location. Central lake is near of walk distance – great place to find some quiet and green place at the daytime. Obviously, for shopaholics there are market and variety of the shops. I personally recommend the shop called Viet Aroma, which is just beside the hotel and does offer locally made tea, coffee, cocoa and dry fruits, here we got multiple items as gifts and souvenirs for relatives and friends. Do not miss a chance to visit Hanoi and have a nice stay in Lefoyer hotel.
