Centrally located to explore Old Town, Hanoi and walking distance to the French Quarter. Hotel room is large and clean. Has a mini fridge and kettle with tea and coffee. Small bottle of water included and fridge is stocked with beer, pop and large water you can purchase. The bed is firm, air conditioning works. Bathroom amenities include a toothbrush which was great. The only thing they don’t have is hair conditioner (not sure any in Vietnam do). Breakfast is included and caters to locals and North Americans as they will fry you up eggs. The hotel can arrange private transport from the airport for $14 Cdn per person which is great.

Room Tip: Our room faced the street which is busy and noisy but by 11pm all is quiet.

We stayed here 3 times different room each time , first room very nice secound time not so nice 3rd time 10th floor lift only goes to 9th floor . Very central overvall stayed at 6 hotels ,thus was the only one that charged us extra for early check in arrived first day after travelling 19 hours at 12.30 not able to.check in unyill 14.00 paid extra to check in early.
Not a good choice at breakfast, sheets clean towels clean , a young couple having a row at reception Hotel charging them 300,000 for hole in towel , check all towels and bedding on arrival .

Hotel located in old quarter and very convenient, you can get close to Vietnam people living. New hotel, very clean and comfortable The room decor is very modern and although it's not big in size. The room is very clean and it's very comfortable with netflix on tv,.Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed warmly, served with cold drink. The location is perfect, there's a convenience store (circle k) just right next door.Special thanks to Cuong and his Manager for arranging everything for giving me such a memorable experience.

3 rooms and one AC unit worked, dirty bathroom with thick calcium deposits on shower faucets. Beds are hard as a rock ant the sheets are not soft. Paint from walls on the TV, terrible experience. I waited an hour to get in my room, went to locals walked in and were given room immediately. They didn’t like that room and came back. Five minutes later and were given a second room. I waited another 15 before my room was issued. They will only issue you one room key so your AC Hass to turn off every single time you walk out the door, which just makes the poor quality AC’s even worse. We had two nights booked here and canceled the second one and got a room across the street at the Tyrant.

i really like this hotel :) it has great location in famous Old Quarter, the ancient area of Hanoi. less than 5 min and you will reach the Hoan Kiem lake and the Ngoc Son temple, the Thang Long water puppet theater, the Hang Gai street where i found my Ao Dai (so happy hehehe .. ). and no ever worry about food, as you may find any kind of yummy local food scattered along the area.
this brand new hotel just opened few weeks before i came so everything seems shining and sparkling :) i stay at the third floor, where there were spacious twin beds, comfortable matress, with fresh-spotless bed sheets, luxury wooden floor, and they prepare welcome fruit as well :D
the washroom was great. towels and hand towels were there, with bathtube, wide mirror, all is designed beautifully. as a person who has concerned about details, i feel that all things in this room was well prepared, especially the way they package all the toiletries.
Hanoi streets are always alive and bustling but i felt serenity when i have my own time in the room. even during the saturday night when most young Hanonians enjoying their night along the street in front of the hotel. hmmmm... what you asked more for a room than comfortable and peaceful sleep :)
the wifi is available in every floor :) so i didnt have to go to the lobby to get online. yea, chat with your loved one from your own room is a big plus :) of course you may use the free laptop for guest in the lobby.
there's a roof cafe on the top floor and its opened in evening. i didnt have chance to enjoy my evening there but i took a look that morning, and cool .. you can see the HK lake while enjoying your Vn coffee :D
hotel staffs were nice, friendly and helpful. obviously seen that the management gave their best effort of expertise as the key ingredients to take care of their guests.
this hotel is the convenience in the midst of the old charm city of Hanoi .. love it :)

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for four nights in November. This hotel is centrally located and you can easily walk to the lake. The hotel is relatively new so everything seems clean and fresh. The rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and even had a tub. There was wifi available in the room as well as a computer you could use in the lobby. We also had breakfast included and the girl serving breakfast was extremely pleasant and helpful.
The thing that really makes this hotel special is the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful no matter what we asked for. One person even went so far as to go out and get us water puppet tickets at another theater because the close one was sold out for the days we were in town. The staff were very helpful with taxis as well, often giving them instructions like "don't drive around, go straight there" and telling them exactly where we wanted to go (we don't speak Vietnamese so this was very helpful!).
If I return to Hanoi I will definitely choose this hotel again... and you should too.

I arrived at the hotel because received the recomendation about the new opening ( september 2010 ), it was a good desicion, the staff is incredible, very friendly and all the time to support. About the hotel is nice with good price , the rooms comfortables, with spaces and cabinet, safe box and clean. It is near the lake and the old market zone, so the ubication is good for nightlife and food. I recomend this htl and i ll return the next time. MAURICIO.

Came to Hanoi for the first time, I had such a good time staying in this city and the hotel which I stayed made my trip so comfortable. This is Lefoyer Hotel -this is a wonderfully located hotel in the heart of Hanoi. It is like a boutique hotel small and quaint with a very homely feel.
The staff provided superior service and always with a smile. Rooms were clean and very big considering the price, and they came with a flat screen TV with variety of channels. This is a small restaurant in this hotel and in the morning, I will have a good breakfast (Vietnam traditional food and European food) and one thing specially it free.
Would definitely recommend to friends and family and I would hopefully like to visit this city again!
