This hotel has recently been renovated and is a lovely place to stay in the heart of the Old Quarter. The hotel reception staff are really friendly and very helpful. The hotel is small but very clean and well designed. We stayed here on 2 separate occasions during our stay and both times really enjoy the friendly hospitality, the sensible...

Stayed two nights at the recommendation of Linh Tours - excellent tour agency in old quarter. Staff could not be more helpful. Had problem with bank overseas needed to get ATM late a night. No problem, said the young guy on the door, hop on my scooter we'll sort it out! Had room with a lake view but all rooms...

Stayed here twice in Nov. with the team from Habitat for Humanity, a volunteer organisation building for the needy. This was my 4th trip to Hanoi in 7 years so I reckon I know the place pretty well. This Hotel is perfectly located, right in the heart of the Old Quarter. It's small and unpretentious but very comfortable. The construction...

We stayed here in June and unfortunately the noise from construction works next door was really really loud. So loud at times we couldn't hear the TV or converse with each other. I complained several times and was just given an - its not so bad - comment in return. (The noise started really early, woke us up and finished...

Lefoyer's courteous staff and clean room added to the homey feeling of the hotel. Breakfast is spartan but at least there is one. Great location. Fine restaurants nearby. souvenir shops everywhere. The best hotel for budget-conscious travelers! My other home in Ha Noi!

I returned to this hotel almost a year after my first visit and I can still really recommend it. If you want to stay in the tourist area the hotel could not be better located. Staff are friendly as they are in most hotels in this area. Certainly, they are very helpful in booking taxis that don't scam you. My...

Myself & my wife stayed 2 nights early November. Room was clean and tidy, bed and shower good. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. I was even invited to join them having a beer, and some of their evening meal on the 1st evening. Given a portion of dried squid to take home ! The Manager also provided us with...

I only paid a third of what my fellow trade mission travellers paid for thier hotel. Thiers had a wonderful reception and nice breakfast room, mine didn't. But the rooms were nearly as good if a little smaller. They feature a hardwood floor (or are all these floors in Vietnam plastic?), large screen tv, netbook and a bed big enough...

We stayed in this hotel for a number of days during our visit to Hanoi. The hotel is in an excellent location to walk easily around old town. The room was clean and offered everything we needed: nice bathroom, bed, tv, desk, safe. The staff were very helpful with our requests for laundry service, directions, and early morning check ins...

We stayed here December 2011, and loved the hotel, it is within a 5 minute walk to the lake. The rooms were very neat, clean & tidy, each room had it's own computer, didn't use it, as I had my little laptop. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, we left our bags there when we went to Sapa, and...

“We stayed in 401 & 501 - both face the street but noise is not a problem. Both these rooms have shower only & are large, spacious rooms.”

“The rooms at the front of the hotel look out on the busy Hanoi streets - the back of the hotel gets a view of a roof. Not really a big deal, but, its always nice to see the hussle and bussle of people going about their lives in old town.”

“City View apparently are bigger rooms. Also, being at the back, no noise, but its not a noisy street in any case.”
