Very good location right in the center of Hanoi old quarter and amazing value for money! The best part of my stay was the staff! They were incredible welcoming and helpful, I literally felt like at home there. I recommend this place 100% and I...More
The Green Street Hotel is located in the middle of the Old Quarter on Ma May near the corner to Hang Buom – so it offers a great location in the Old Quarter, near many food places, bars and cafes. Overall a great location.
We stayed for a few nights. The staff could have been a bit friendlier and the beds were very hard but as it was our first few nights traveling we didn't mind. One thing to bare in mind is that as we explored Hanoi a...More

There's a shuttlebus of Vietnam Airlines to get you in the city and to your hotel. When you exit the Terminal, walk across the street and then turn right and keep on going the bus platform. You should see it when you walk the bus platform or then the driver sees you and offers rides. Negotiate the price! We paid 100 000 VND\pax (5$) and they took us to our hotel. The bus actually didn't leave before it's full. But it's cheap option. You can also negotiate with taxi driver the fixed price. We could have got the taxi also with 5$\each.
We only took the the private car ride from the hotel back to airport coz we had really early domestic flight so that seemed to be the easiest way. So you don't actually have to take an airport pick-up if you don't want to. :)
