The hotel itself is located in a great location in the midst of the backpacker hub. There are numerous restaurants and bara right outside your door. It can be an overwhelming area, but the bustle of the streets outside didn't carry throughout the hotel, which was a welcome surprise. The location was great for roaming the surrounding area, including markets...

My wife and I spent a total of 4 nights at Camel City Hotel. The location was ideal — in the heart of the backpacker district, but down an alley to help keep things quiet. We had chosen to switch to Camel City from another hotel, and we were glad we did. The two rooms we were in were both...

My girlfriend and I choosed this hotel for its location which is great, just in the middle of the old quarter. Unfortunately our experience however was absolutely negative: too noisy, quite dirty and bad customer service. The first night we stayed in the room on the front side of first floor. The noise from the road was terrible also because...

Staff at this hotel were excellent, they really went over and above to help as much as they could. Great location in the heart of the Old Quarter but not noisy. Our room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was basic but nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
