I had the pleasure to stay 7 nights at the Finnegans, in Hanoi, a city wich I fell in love with. It is VERY well located for a traveler who likes to walk all around , eat on the street and feel the pulse of life in the old quarter. I am a solo traveler and it was very nice...

Good hotel to stay in, great location and a nice family hotel. Clean rooms, great breakfast. Only criticisms is that they were late picking us up from the airport so we almost got in a taxi thinking they weren't coming and once they found out we had pre booked trains and weren't goingtobook s day trip with them the attitude...

Finnegans, which by the way is an excellent name, it differentiates it from the Golden Horse, or Lucky Hotels that abound in Vietnamese/Chinese nomenclature! It is located on a small plot in a narrow side-street off one of the maniacal roads in the old quarter of Hanoi, which thankfully spares it much of the noise and fumes. It is a...

We recently stayed at Finnegan's Hotel in Hanoi. I can say without a doubt this is the best hotel in Hanoi. I have stayed at other hotels in the city on previous trips but nothing compares to this family owned hotel. The rooms are huge, and its perfectly located in the heart of the old quarter. All of that is...

Recently went to Hanoi. My friends and I were all blown away by how nice this hotel was. It wasn't the great price for the quality of hotel that impressed us as much as the staff. Viet, the owner and operator of the hotel is amazingly helpful. He went out of his way to help us book flights, trips, and...

We recently stayed here for 5 nights at the end of January. Finnegans had organised a car for us at the airport when we arrived which was great as we were both very tired from the long trip from Australia. We arrived prior to check-in and were greeted warmly with fresh fruit and coffee/tea while we waited for our room...

My son and I really enjoyed our stay at Finnegan's. The hotel is perfectly located right in the middle of the old quarter, but down a quiet side street. The rooms we had were huge, the bathrooms impeccable, the beds really comfortable. The rooms were spotless, and quiet, at the back of the hotel. No view, but we like a...

This is a great place to stay because it is in the old quarter, the family are so helpful and speak good English and care that everyone has a great time. We did have a nice room with a balcony but it was very noisy so when we returned from Halong Bay, which we booked with Viet and was most...

We have stayed there quite a few times now and it is our hotel of choice when going to hanoi. Viet and Hanh always go that little bit further in making sure we are welcome and confortable in this lovely little hotel in the fun part of the city.

Coming to my hotel, you will be pleased with the cozy and friendly atmosphere created through “like-brother-and-sister” staff; however, professional serving style is definitely maintained. It is proved through ten-year experience in hotel service. Despite lacking of five-star facilities, I always remind myself of putting my heart, soul and great effort to give the most memorable experience for you, even more than five- star service.
