We stayed here for 4 nights after travelling and sleeping in many hotels throughout Cambodia and Vietnam. The staff are the best; nothing too much trouble, they did everything to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Beds and pillows are excellent, unlike many we had experienced. Breakfast was good, plentiful and varied. Some of the rooms are a little small,...

This is a modest hotel with a narrow frontage set in the market area and close to the lake. But what a jewel of a place. Initially we were offered aninterior room, perfectly adequate, but we were fortunate to be given an upgrade at a much reduced rate by the lovely June, customer services manager, and an angel on earth....

If you want thorough spoiling in a Boutique Hotel, choose a few days at Meracus. The team are very welcoming, extremely professional and really helpful. The service is great and nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff. ...WE took their 'guide service' to the train for Sapa. The 200,000 dong was well spent as they organised our taxi,escorted...

Recently stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel is spotlessly clean, staff are very friendly and the location is excellent. Just on the edge of the Old Quarter, 2 mins from Hoan Kiem and on the doorstep of all the sights and smells. Ask for the highest floor possible as it can get noisy, but overall a superb hotel and would...

Over the last five weeks we have stayed in a range of hotels from exclusive hotel/islands to backpackers/home stays. This hotels is definitely the most pleasant stay that we have had. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and affordable. The location is great and central to the old quarter and lake. By far the main reason that makes this hotel...

Great location in old section near the Hoan Kiem and the water puppet theatre. Very helpful staff who spoke pretty good English. We stayed here before and after a trip to Halong Bay. Breakfast was excellent. This review is biased by the fact that we got upgraded to the famous room 601 on our second visit. 601 is a slightly...

Stayed here as part of a fortnight's trip to Cambodia and Vietnam with Vietlong Travel. Absolutely lovely stay. Small hotel tucked away in between shoe shops in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Very smart and spotless. All mod cons. Fantastic staff, nothing was too much trouble and special mention goes to Annie on reception and Binh in the dining room....

For the past 3+ years I have traveled to Ha Noi about 15 times and stayed in 4 different hotels. This one is the best I have stayed when considering quality, price and location. I booked a junior suite room which has plenty of space, king bed, large balcony, good size shower and very clean. All the staff I encountered...

We only had a three night stay at this beautiful hotel, but wished it could have been more. The room was first class, as was the food and the staff who all spoke fairly good English and were very helpful. The aircon worked well and the shower was superb with overhead and body jets, breakfast was a buffet of Vietnamese...
