We stayed here in mid-November 2016. Three of us shared a room, which was no problem since the rooms are huge! We wanted to spend lots of time in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, wandering the streets and enjoying the food. We looked at staying in the Old Quarter as well, but went with the Hilton on the recommendation of...

We enjoyed staying at the Hilton Opera in Hanoi and found it well located for our first visit to the city. Many of the interesting and historical places to visit are within easy walking distance, as are the shops, market and eating places of old city area. Aside from location our room was also good and staff very helpful. The...

We stayed here for the last 2 days of our holiday to Vietnam. It was the most expensive place but lacked the finishing touches that some of our other accomodations had. The lobby area is impressive, but hallways and landings have obviously old carpets. The room was spacious but with windows that don't open and still had old style hairdrier...

Dear HelenCopestake Thank you for your review. I was disappointed that you found our breakfast to be below standard. I will review, as we generally receive very positive feedback. Our renovation will be in 2017 and help improve the overall appearance of some areas that may need attention. Kind regards Andrew

Dear Andrew W Please accept my sincere apologies for the misunderstanding with your food order last night. I have discussed with the team and reiterated the need to repeat the order and ensure all is correct before delivering the order. It sounds an easy process! unfortunately not in this case. I was pleased the team did not charge you for...

I stayed here a couple of years ago and remembered the rooms to be nicer than they are now. Rooms look shabby and run down. I called to see if there are different grades of rooms but my colleague's (who was upgraded to a suite) room had similar run down feeling. Lobby and staff still nice, but am disappointed with...

The hotel is too old, there was no change, no renovation or touch up after 8 years coming back. The toiletries in my room looked so cheap, the amenities box was old and damaged. The iron board got many yellow stain but they still use. The service at front desk wasn't 5 star level. I checked in without any help...

We placed a booking through tripadvisor for 3 people, and when arriving to the hotel, one of the receptionist told us that they just received a reservation for 2 people, so we paid extra money for the third person. It was our last night of our 10 days vacation, so we didn't want to argue with anyone. When checking in,...
