The Hilton opera is one of the better hotels in Hanoi. Nice entrance hall, spacious and welcoming with fresh flowers; The staff at the reception is very helpful. The room was large and quiet with a nice bathroom and fresh flowers every day! the quality of the bed was very good. The bar in the entrance hall is not that...

I stayed here whilst on business/holiday in Hanoi, and I was very happy with all aspects of my visit. The business facilities were good (e.g. conference room and equipment), the hotel itself was clean and lovely, the bars and restaurants were good too. The room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable (although very firm, this is standard in...

The property itself is not too impressive as it looks a bit old but it seems to be maintained well enough, and its location is very convenient to get around downtown Hanoi area. One thing I really enjoyed as well is their pho section of the breakfast buffet at the restaurant Ba Mien.

We are travelling on a tour and have been staying at many 5 star hotels throughout Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. I have been looking forward to staying at the Hilton Hanoi Opera and expected a high quality hotel with luxurious facilities, boy was I wrong! The staff are nice however the hallways stink of cigarette smoke...

The hotel is right at the Old Quarter within walking distance of tourist attractions but it was not a good idea to walk. High humidity, hot temperature, chaotic traffic and crowded pavement are not condusive for a good troll. The room is large with nice size bathroom, shower and tub. Bedding is good but mattress was soft. I had lounge...

Dear SofiaReiziger Thank you for your review. I must say I was surprised to read that you found the staff not very knowledgeable reading the surrounding areas. I will address with all to ensure we are offering the appropriate advice. I will also pass on your feedback to our Executive Chef to review the food offering, which we rarely receive...

Recently had four nights at the Hilton Hanoi as part of a conference group. The hotel could not have done more for us. The allocated rooms were spotlessly clean, well appointed and very roomy. The conference room was beautifully presented with plenty of assistance provided with setup for both room and IT. All the hotel staff were very friendly with...

The Hilton Hanoi Opera has a great location withing walking distance of the old town as well as the french quarter. Service is impeccable - we had problems with the internet and even though we said to forget about it, the staff insisted on solving the problem for us. The rooms are ok, clean and well furnished (practical) but not...

You will be far pushed to get better service and as many smiles as in the Hilton Hanoi. The property is a little dated, but it's a nice hotel. The pool and gym are excellent, rooms are well appointed with all the usual Hilton amenities. The executive floor is nice and big, and the happy hour delivers the usual goodies....

Despite reviews of all other more recommended and better rated hotels, some historic, I'm glad I chose Hilton Hanoi. We ended up staying right next to the Opera house, excellent location walking distance from the old quarter and excellent eateries.

Check-in was fast and efficient...but, "cold". The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Concierge services unfortunately was not helpful in giving directions out of the hotel to where I wanted to go especially for a first time visitor like myself. Had to rely on Google maps to guide me instead. Good location in the financial district.
