Much better than any HGI in the U.S. The breakfast spread was wonderful! Omelette and pho station, pastries, hot and cold foods, etc. This came free with status every morning. The fitness center was small but the machines worked well and it had a filtered water machine which was nice. The hotel is in walking distance from the Hilton Opera...

The hotel is great and the staff really friendly and nice. Got upgraded as a result of Hhonors status to a wonderful suite and enjoyed a really nice complimentary breakfast in the restaurant. This property is definitely nicer than your typical HGI in the US. The only let down is the terrible internet both in the room and common areas....

This hotel is located in the old French quarter and is close to good shopping and dining with attractions within walking distance. The staff are well trained and most speak English. The food at the hotel is of high quality and reasonably priced although there are food vendors nearby serving traditional foods at a very cheap price, I have had...

Arrived from Hong Kong and so we pleased we asked Trailfinders to book a standard room here. Everything about the stay was superb. Lovely, comfortable room...wifi best so far in Asia..even better than Hong Kong! ...and excellent choice of cuisine. But the breakfast beat everything! My last Hilton stay was in Brussels a year ago, but it had nothing on...

Arrived at 6am after a 9 hour flight, no rooms ready and charged $13 each for breakfast. There's a couple of couches in the lobby which a few of us where snoozing on until rooms where ready, the receptionist asked us to sit up or move to the bar as it doesn't look good for other guests!!! Not impressed Hilton....

Hanoi was our first experience of Vietnam, and this was our first hotel. Not sure what to expect but it was all good. Busy place, friendly helpful staff, very comfortable bed. Housekeeping very efficient. Loved the view from our room, which looked out onto a courtyard of a block of local apartments, but our friends in a room just down...

We stayed using points on our last three nights in Vietnam after a 5 week travel. This hotel is geared towards business travelers but was fine for us. Appreciated the free laundry service (affordable detergent for sale downstairs) and the room was fine. Shower a bit awkward and hard to keep water contained. The breakfast was OK - wouldn't pay...

What can I say. For the location, the very friendly staff and its value there is no location in Hanoi that is better than the Hilton Garden Inn. The only thing better would be coming to your own Mother's home for a meal and a visit. I hope I can come and stay there again in the future.
