We came back here again! After 2 years & this horrible virus to find our favorite little hotel open & inviting. It was so nice coming back, but it is a bit different... staff is smaller but so accommodating. I asked for a few things like a fan in our room and some batteries needed to be changed. Room was very clean & we stayed on the top floor with a wonderful rooftop terrace. No more breakfast in the restaurant... they brought it to our room & it was delightful! We will definitely be back again next trip! The staff & Raymond the manager were top notch!!!👌👏👏

We arrived in Hanoi just as the Coronavirus crisis was gripping the city to stay a few days before flying back to the U.K. It happened to be my birthday and we spent the day getting tested for the virus so we could get certified fit to fly. One of the hotel staff changed her shift so that she could be out interpreter at the hospital then arranged for someone to pick up our results and bring them to the hotel. After an exhausting and stressful day we returned to our room to find it decorated with balloons and flowers and a Happy Birthday banner over our bed. Our flight was cancelled at the last minute the following day due to Thailand closing it airports so we were stranded in Hanoi. Our hosts couldn’t have been more understanding. Two days later we were the only remaining guests but instead of closing the hotel, they insisted that we stay as long as we needed to, for free. What could have turned out to be a total disaster was transformed into a very happy stay during a very difficult time. Thanks to all the wonderful staff at La Selva Hotel.

We checked in at La Selva Hotel for 1-2 nights before heading for our trip to Yangon. First of all, i should say that their restaurant service is more than a buffet. You order whatever you want on the menu and they will give it to you "with a smile." Second, the room where we stayed in was so relaxing especially with the designs made in the wall. Third, the frontliners were all so approachable. Lastly, i guess this was the very first and i think the only hotel in Hanoi who gave us a souvenir coffee pack upon checking out. Very thoughtful. Very excellent service. You must come here! 👍

There are 8 floors that can be accessed via elevator. The breakfast room is on the 9th floor and you have to use the stairs to go to the 9th floor from 8th floor.
