I have stayed in many hotels in Hanoi, and this is one of my favorites. The location is great (in the heart of the French Quarter, close to Hoan Kiem Lake, Hang Gai (where there are many shops for silk and lacquer), and Hang Dao (night market street). Despite the location, the hotel is surprisingly quiet. The rooftop restaurant is...

We stayed at the Quoc Hoa Hotel with our 3 children in May for 3 nights. We all loved this place, nice clean rooms, friendly helpful staff and an excellent location. The breakfast was great and we also enjoyed the view from the restaurant. Our rooms were at the back with windows onto a courtyard area and were nice and...

I stayed at the Quoc Hoa Hotel for a total of 8 days in April and May, 2009. I had a fantastic experience. The location can't be beat - right in the Old Quarter, a 5 minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. Cabs are plentiful, as are cyclos and motorbikes if you need a ride. Tons of stuff to do...

We stayed at the Quoc Hoa hotel on our first night after arriving in Vietnam and again 2 nights later after returning from Halong Bay. The hotel is in the Old Quarter which is very busy and exciting. Both rooms were very comfortable. The second bed was a little hard, but we still slept fine both nights. There are heavy...

We stayed in one of their suites which is a better choice that the standard rooms which are quite small. Bed was a bit uncomfortable and the bathroom had just a bath tub and no shower stall. Breakfast buffet was better than at other hotels we stayed at in Hanoi. It is a central location in old town so expect...

After traveling around Vietnam for 17 days in 4-star hotels, this one was one of our least favorite. Location is good, but overall it was not as upscale or feature-rich as so many hotels in Vietnam are. The beds were hard as a rock, pillows way too big and stiff, and overall everything seemed a bit old. Pass on this...

This small hotel has nice clean rooms (the deluxe ones are the most spacious) on one of those classically busy old quarter streets of Hanoi. The front desk was helpful (though we had a few minor communication issues). The location is good. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms modern. The breakfast buffet in a glassy room on the top...

We booked our trip to Vietnam through TNK Travel - will review them separately but they've been brilliant so far. Said we wanted a four star hotel and this was what they came up with. This hotel is in a fantastic location - right in the heart of the Old Quarter. We stayed one night, then headed off to do...

Great little hotel in the old quarter. Easy walking distance to any part of the old quarter. A wonderful base for shopping and sightseeing. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff went out of their way to help us and opened up early for an early morning arrival. The top floor restaurant was the perfect place for the wonderful...
