We spent a total of 4 nights here in February, broken by a trip to Sapa. We were delighted by the hotel's location in the Old Quarter, coupled with its cool, quiet clean feel. Staff were friendly and efficient; rooms were clean, reasonably large, and quiet. Aircon was fine. Breakfast buffet was reasonable, and the room where it was served...

Stayed at this hotel 2 nights, 29 & 30 Jan 07. We stayed in a Deluxe Room and the room was great for a small hotel, it was clean and tidy, the decor very modern, included a small sofa and coffee table. Our room was 306 and it was at the back of the hotel, no view but were not...

If you want to stay in the old quarter, this is a great choice. Our room was big (we had three people and asked for the Classic Junior Family Suite) and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful -- although they do have a travel agent liason there who gives a bit of a hard sell. Restaurant on the...

The location Rocks, the staff is extremely helpful, the rooms are clean and the breakfast fabulous. We were pleasantly surprised, especially considering how reasonably priced it is. The location in The Old Quarter makes it convenient to walk around and see the real Hanoi. The staff was so helpful, answering questions, storing luggage and giving recommendations to restaurants and shops....

Situated in the heart of the Old Quarter, the Quoc Hoa was a little haven away from the hectic pace of the streets below. We stayed here on 2 separate occasions during a 14 day trip through Vietnam. Both rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were large, although the shower in our first room had water that would...

Stayed here as part of a package and weren't impressed when our room smelt of damp. Fortunately they changed our room after a prolonged discussion. Although small, the rooms where furnished well and actually quite clean. Breakfast was also very good. On the downside they were constantly pitching tours etc, and you have to put up with the chaotic Old...

We stayed here for 3 nights in October 2006 as part of a larger tour of Vietnam, and would agree with the majority of the comments made by reviewers to date. The rooms are well furnished, comfortable and larger than average; the breakfast is very good (with wonderful views over the Old Quarter from the 7th floor); and the location...

I had recently stayed at the Quoc Hoa hotel in Hanoi. The room was clean and neat and had the expected amenities asdescribed. More importantly, In my rush to check out, i had apparently left an envelope with my remaining Hong Kong dollars worth about 60 US dollars and some receipts. I had no idea where i had left my...

The Quoc Hoa is in the old quarter of Hanoi. My husband and I have just stayed there for a week in May 2006. The staff were always helpful (although I would use a travel agent for tours rather than the hotel as we'd booked a day trip with them to Tam Coq which was cancelled due to lack of...

I was plesently surprised at the quality of this little hotel. We have stayed in Hanoi previously at one of the 5* hotels and was disappointed with the quality of the rooms, however this little hotel ticked all the boxes, yes the bathroom may be a little outdated and worn however it was clean and very large, there were flowers...
