We stayed here for one night as the Church Hotel was full & it is their sister hotel.After we booked we were warned off this hotel by a reputable local agent & other net reviews.We also found a scam warning for this hotel on wikipedia! i am surprised at the 2 other reviews that have so far been posted about this hotel. we were also approached at vientiane airport and agreed to stay here. as promised there was someone to meet us at hanoi airport and when we got to the hotel the staff were friendly and helpful. we paid $10 for the room and...

During my 6 weeks travel in Asia I have NEVER been staying at a hotel like this. Only one word to describe it - TERRIBLE!! We were sought up at the Hanoi airport and we agreed to come and see at their rooms for 9 dollars a night, included breakfast, free internet, AC. The taxi to the Hotel was 1...

I flew from Vientiane(laos) to Hanoi(Vietnam) in July 05. In vientiane airport i was approached by a person with the Thien Tan hotel brochure. He promised that a taxi would bring us from hanoi airport into the city, some thirty miles form the airport. We were told we could look at the rooms of thien tan with no obligation to...
