I think I got a bad room or something as our room just smelled so damp and off I wasn't sure if it was the smell of the bathroom or not. The bed felt slightly damp too and it was soooo uncomfortable. The whole place needs a makeover - walls were dirty, old doors, paper thin walls. Didnt help when...

I booked this hotel because I was scheduled to take a Halong bay trip the next morning after arriving in Hanoi. The hotel is right above the Old Quarter and is therefore very convenient for night walk. The downside to being so close is the noise of the busy Hang Bong street, all of which is very noticeable if you...

Compare with another hotels we have stayed, Bodega Hotel is the best. The room here was very nice, modern architecture with fully facilities. We slept very well on our bed. I stayed at Bodega Hostel (not a Hotel, actually, it's a Hostel) on February 2012. Room was spacey, clean and good. Me personally only have two concerns while I book a hotel: hot water and AC. These fulfilled at Bodega as well, so no complain from me. Breakfast was fine but hey, it's a backpacker accommodation so what do you...

Once again is perfection for my second stay. From arriving in hotel you are warmly welcomed by the staffs and then gave you the cup of mineral water, willing to answer you any question about Hanoi. Each staff member amazingly remembered my name and was always available to help. Room was very nice, spacious and have every amenity, especially, it...

I stayed at Bodega in Hanoi in Nov 11 for 8 days and befriended Tam the owner. After a few nights discussion we became friends and I invited him for dinner outside. I asked him to help me buy a used motorbike and offered a commission on the sale but he refused the commission stating that we were friends. Next...

Upon arriving in Hanoi we were taken by our taxi driver to a place we thought was the 'sister' hotel of the bodega after a seemingly pleasant man jumped into our mini bus and told us there had been an issue with our room. To cut a long story short we were taken to the wrong hotel in an apparently...
