Three families (16 people) traveled in Hanoi and we finished up our trip at the Anise hotel. We love this place. We stayed one night at the Anise after arriving in Hanoi from HCMC before taking a couple of excursion tours and then came back to finish our stay at the Anise. The staff was quite accommodating in storing our...

stayed for 4 nights in Hanoi before travelling back to UK. Room on third floor at front of hotel, quite cramped but clean. Bed very hard. No wifi signal in room but ok in restaurant and reception area. Noise from traffic but surprisingly slept well. Bath has step up and no separate shower - small screen, good water pressure which...

At the beginning of our trip through Vietnam my husband fell ill and we had to spend extra time in Hanoi. The Anise Hotel were very empathetic to our needs and gave us a lovely large room with a balcony for him to recover in. The staff were always there to help in any way that they could. Always friendly...

We arrived very early with our family of 4 after a 12 hours flight. Staff was expecting us, luggage was stored and we were told to wait two hours for our room. We decided to go to the center (south), but went completely the opposite way (north). (Now I remember the IPhone has a compass...). We had breakfast with nems...

The good: The room was clean and tidy, king single beds, good breakfast, good location, polite helpful staff, close to the major attractions and the old quarter. The bad: very noisy spot, beds were extremely hard, bathroom was tired.

On arrival we were greeted by the lovely staff. Our bags were taken to the room, which was lovely. Great view, beautiful sparkly bath!! We were front facing & yes we arrived after a long flight thinking we couldn't sleep, but the double glazing & jetlag was enough. The front desk were so helpful, guiding us with restaurants, taxis, our...

We spent 3 nights at the Anise hotel during our first visit toVietnam. Location is very good, you can walk to Ho Chi Minh compound, and the lake (in the opposite direction) in about 15 minutes. Breakfast was not bad, usual things, although given the way the tables are predominantly grouped in fours there isn't enough for everyone and we...
