I stayed in Raising Dragon Hotel I for 4 nights and the experience was the best I have ever had in a hotel. Situated in the heart of the Old Hanoi, with plenty of tiny restaurants and shops, it is only some minutes from the Water Puppets Theater, the central lake and the temple and only 30 minutes walking from...

I stayed at the Rising Dragon with a group of University students for one month in December 2010. What separates this place from other budget accommodation is the staff. They will more than go out of their way to help you. They arranged multiple tours for us, both for large groups and small and would always know what direction to...

We received an excellent services from the Hotel including buying tickets to Sapa and booking a 2-days trip in Halong bay. We stayed on and off across 3 nights in between Sapa and a Halong Bay cruise. The hotel staff were very obliging, funny and helpful, holding our luggage safely as we did our 2 trips, and allowing us to catch up on some sleep out of hours. Breakfast was great, rooms were very clean and enough space around beds to...

The Rising Dragon is in a fantastic spot just off the north-east corner of the lake. The staff were extremely helpful and gave us lots of options for tours, where to eat and what to see in Hanoi. We were upgraded to a 'deluxe room' which was great for USD$27 a night although the only downsides was that there was...

David organises great tours to Sapa & Halong. Be prepared that some rooms don't have a window to look out at the view but the staff & location make up for that.

We were extremely impressed with the Rising Dragon Hotel. Its location is handy to all the old Hanoi has to offer. Checkin was very smooth. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. The only downsides are there is no lift so if you are on the 5th floor you will have alot of climbing to do, and some...

The Rising Dragon Hotel is located in the heart of the downtown area with easy walking access to restaurants and attractions. The staff at the hotel was wonderful, and assisted in many way - a.o. making very easy reservation for Halong Bay-cruise, traintickets and taxi transfers. Of course, this is a two-star hotels, and the beds were a little bit...
