We stayed here for only one night as our Sapa stay was curtailed. It was perfectly fine, but there was a wide range of room types, from luxurious to windowless. I suggest arriving early as the nicer rooms get taken first.
Found this hotel in Hanoi's old quarter when I arrived in Hanoi. Rooms are very cheap (you have to negotiate), but unfortunately the only room left was at the ground level (half basement), so no windows. I suspect there had been floods in that room...More

We were unfortunately moved from Sunshine 2 to Sunshine 3 when we extended our stay in Hanoi. We were told don't worry, Sunshine 3 would be better. It wasn't. Not by a long way. No lift. Had to carry bags up 3 flights of stairs....More
