I know that many people have considered my reviews regarding this hotel over the years and I have always given it good reports. We usually came here twice a year when we came to Ho Chi Minh and we were happy with the service. But it seems that with new policies at the hotel things have changed. Previously guests were...

Booked for 1 night for our last full day/night in Ho Chi Minh before travelling the rest of Vietnam. Booked solely to use the pool/sunbathe on our last day and have a nice room to stay in. Checked in okay and the room isn't bad - very dated but okay and the beds a good size. Went to use the...

If you want a central location, friendly and helpful staff and good value this is an excellent choice. Yes it has a 'faded' charm but they could not be more kind and welcoming without undue fuss. Great choices for breakfast and clean well kept rooms.

This hotel was the last stop on our intrepid tour. The check in was a nightmare as they separated us from our 3 children. They couldn't understand why the parents would want a room near their 3 young children. There were empty rooms right next to us so there was no excuse, they simply didn't want to help us. It...

Stayed here as part of a tour group. The group uses local three star hotels to keep costs low and to support local owners, so we had stayed in a number of three star hotels throughout Vietnam. This hotel was by far the worst. They have a number of awards on the reception wall, stating they are in the top...

Apart from the fact that we were required to have a marriage certificate (because my girlfriend is from Vietnam). It is a good place to stay, as the rooms are clean and spacious and a walking distance away from many touristy attractions. The staff is friendly, as one of the security guards by the entrance organized a scooter for rent...

This hotel is ok. The staff were a bit grumpy by the pool and everytime you wanted to use the pool you needed to get a ticket from reception (apparently to stop non-hotel people using the pool) which was a hassle.

The rooms are decorated in old- fashioned Asian kitsch style, which we loved. Rooms are spacious and clean with good aircon, although mixed results with the wifi ( we stayed in two rooms: in one room the wifi was good; in the other it was non existent). Our rooms on the 2nd floor were fairly quiet, although I did get...

We stayed here for the last two nights of our family Intrepid tour and from the moment we stepped into the hotel we could smell cigarette smoke and the whole hotel is lackluster to say the very least. The hotel is very tired and run down and although it says it's 3 stars I'd highly recommend it be given only...
