We had reserved the deluxe room. It was a large room with big windows. I was surprised how quiet it was in the room being at the street side. The bed was big and has a TV with a variety of English channels. Staff were lovely, always smiling. You pick your breakfast off a small menu, you could have pho,...

We stayed 3 nights and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfy and simple. It was hard to find at first because it is down an alley, but once found, it is easy to go to and from. And that was key, lots of shops and restaurants a short walk away.

Cat Huy Hotel is situated in a really convenient location down a lively alleyway just off Pham Ngu Lao. Despite the bustle outside, it proved to be a quiet and peaceful place to spend a few nights with the room clean and comfortable. The staff provide excellent service and were always on hand to help. Would definitely recommend to others...

The Cat Huy is a charming hotel down an alley off of Pham Ngu Lao Street. The alley turns into an early morning market which is quite busy. It was fascinating just walking up and down the alley looking at what was for sale: fruits, vegetables, fish, tofu, underwear, fresh coconuts, hot food. The hotel itself is clean, spacious (at...

This hotel is well located, on a small alley off of a major street that every taxi driver will know. Rooms are simple and clean. Staff is friendly and ready to help. As others have mentioned, there is a morning market in the alley which is a cool way to get introduced to the bustle of the city.

We have recommended this hotel to many friends and family visiting Vietnam and all have been impressed! We returned ourselves and found it just as good as we remembered. One of the draw cards for this small hotel is its situation in a quiet alley way in District 1. There is no traffic noise and in the morning there is...

As mentioned by other reviewers the Cat Huy is down an intimidating looking alley but looks are deceptive. Although narrow and dark at night the alley forms a fascinating network through a safe residential area and transforms into a thriving market in the mornings. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and provides great facilities. Yes, there's no elevator but if...

Very spacious room on the third floor with a tea drinking area, a balcony, comfy bed, desk, excellent wifi, hot water, a place to put everything, good lighting, nice towels, and they gave us a nice breakfast. The location down a small lane is close to many many restaurants, spas and attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I...
