If you want to have a pleasant stay in Ho Chi Minh, please avoid this place! We chose unfortunately this guesthouse during our trip and had to change it after one night, because of the rudest staff I have meet in all my life. One evening me and my friend wanted two cups (we had our own cups) of hot...

Excellent location. My stay here was good except for the loud music coming from downstairs, but not too bad if you have some earplugs. Clean rooms, bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but overall very comfortable. They also have a few English channels like Star Tv, national geographic, discovery, and a few movie channels. Nothing to rave about, but...

I wanted to have a drink with a couple of friends, they were ordering beers, but I don't drink alcohol so I wanted a water or a soft drink. This really mean woman sent me away because I wasn't ordering alcohol! She threw me out of the restaurant! Worst place ever, rudest woman ever, not worth your time!

The old mom and most of her family are extremely unfriendly and sending visitors away for not drinking fast enough or ordering noon-alcoholic drinks (less money for them), etc.. I guess greed has eaten their souls. Don't give them your money there are plenty of bars run by friendly people. Also their are quiet racist - have been hearing from...

Hi guys, I lived in HCM for a year and I can honestly say that this is a great place to drink beers, cocktails or others. I don't know about the hostel though. Bui Vien is a busy street especially at night because every expats or tourists come here to hang out. Just know that this is mainly a backpackers...

Avoid this place at all costs. I didn't stay here but we went for drinks, lured in by the '15,000' Saigon beers. We were a group of 10, including many of our Vietnamese students from the English centre we were working at. As soon as we sat down and ordered, the old woman started screaming at us to get out,...

the rudest staff I have meet in all my life. they are horrible unfriendly the bathroom is a disgrace and the drinks are the same price as all the other bars down the street. the way they treat people is an embarrassment and you should go literally anywhere else just don't throw cash at these people.

Thank goodness we weren't staying here for longer than a beer! Disappointing that this review is one of many similar negative comments and that the lady in charge of this bar has not been stopped acting in such a disgraceful way. Do yourselves a favour and avoid this place at all costs! Picture this: I'm on holiday, walking down the...

Didn't stay at the hostel but sat outside it having very cheap ice cold drinks watching the busy strip. The lady who runs it can be a bit intense but that just adds to the entertainment! The other staff are really friendly and make you feel at home.

We arrived late in the evening when the ground floor had already been turned into a party mile. It was really difficult to navigate through the crowd of drunk Westerners to the reception with our backpacks, but when we finally made it, we were welcomed warmly. After leaving our stuff upstairs, we went down to finally get something to eat...
