As i write this it is 1:30am, i am on the 3rd floor and the music is blaring. Asked them to turn it down, was told "no". The room is a dump, bed and pillows hard, bathroom door doesnt close, toilet doesnt flush. They literally don't give a crap.

We did not stay at this guesthouse but stumbled upon it as we were walking down the street looking for a place to sit and have a drink. We were greeted by an older lady with a grim face but I thought nothing of it. She asked us to change seats when I had already sat down and I complied.... More

6 of us went there for a few drinks. Ordered can of beer each. It wasn't even before we made it through 1/3 of the cans, the boss lady started making comments about how we were drinking too slow and that we should move on. The place was half empty. While she was harrasing us with her hostile "hospitality", another... More

We've been in the street bar, Bui Vien 96 (on the picture where it says 'room for rent 96'). Beer is cheap and it's nice for watching the nightlife of HCMC. BUT....! But be aware who your hosts are: My girlfriend and I sat on a two person table in the first row. Luckily we met a vietnamese friend from... More

Don't get me wrong I know this is budget accommodation, but this is by far the worst I've stayed at. If you're ok with not getting any sleep with all the noise you hear, and sleeping on a bed that smells like cigarettes then go for it. There isnt even a proper blanket on the bed, made it such an... I have visited twice, once very late at night (about 1am), once around 10pm. The first time, we were subjected to the owner being very rude and telling us to leave as we had not drunk fast enough. As it was 1 am we thought maybe she wanted to close so left, moderately annoyed, but went to the excellent and... More

Very good value for money (we had a private room with two double beds). Great location for getting around the city and going out at night. The staff were kind and extremely helpful. I was unfortunately mugged on the street nearby one evening and Hanh came with us to the Police Station to translate and she later emailed over the... More

I was there last week to meet some friends for some beers. I asked for a bottle of beer, and a bottle of water because it was hot and I was dehydrated. The owner barked that they don't sell water and then forced us all to leave, because I had the audacity to ask for some water. So we went... More

This will be the best place to drink up and meet new people. It has cheap drinks and is in the heart of the backpackers district. The owners are just misunderstood. They are NOT racist as implied in other reviews. They are selling the cheapest drinks in the whole street, so logistics is important for them as they are not... More
